?Foreclosure,? a one-act play about a middle-class family caught up in the calamity of today?s fierce economic downturn, has been selected from over 700 plays to be one of the ?Final 40? during the week-long Samuel French Off-Off Broadway Short Play Festival beginning July 14, 2009. It will be presented at 9:00PM on Thursday, July 16th at the Peter Jay Sharp Theatre (416 West 42nd Street) in Manhattan.

Centre Stage presents Country Queens, a concert tribute to the legendary ladies who made country music history: Loretta Lynne, Tammy Wynette, Dolly Parton, Patsy Cline, Kitty Wells, Reba McEntire and Barbara Mandrell. These extraordinary women have created the cornerstone of the classic country style through the decades and generations. The evening highlights their breakout songs, signature songs, and number one hits.

Dance Chicago 2009 announces its 15th season, entitled ?The 15th Anniversary Season Spectacular? running from October 30 - December 20, 2009. More than 3,000 performers from some of Chicago?s best dance companies will share the stage with top international companies and choreographers from around the world will take part in Dance Chicago.

Eclipse Theatre Company's 2009 season: The Celebration Series Part II continues with the Chicago Premiere of Pearl Cleage's latest work. Inspired by the long line of mourners who came by Ebenezer Baptist Church to pay their respects to Mrs. Coretta Scott King, A Song for Coretta introduces five fictional African-American women, aged 17 to 57, waiting in the rain to say their final good-byes. Cleage shows the impact that Mrs. King had on the lives of these women, and the connections that they build with one another through her memory and legacy.

Philly Improv Theater announces its performance schedule for July. In July, the theater is holding two weeks of performances, including an all female sketch and improv festival, called Bonerama.
