In their first Main Stage production, Sydney Theatre Company's permanent ensemble of actors, The Residents, present stories from the big dawn; the Creation, the Fall, the Expulsion from Eden, Cain and Abel and Noah's Ark. The Mysteries: Genesis reflects the theatrical origins of the medieval Mystery plays as popular spectacles produced by tradesmen's guilds. The production is at Wharf 2 from 20 November, directed by Matthew Lutton, STC's Co Artistic Director Andrew Upton and Associate Director Tom Wright.

Auditions for Pioneer Theatre Company's production of Twelve Angry Men will be held on Friday, November 6, 2009 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The time slots from 1 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. are reserved for AEA (Equity) members only, but AEA members may sign up for any time slot. Callbacks will be the morning of Saturday, November 7, 2009; the time will be announced. Auditions will be held in Room 245 at the Simmons Pioneer Memorial Theatre. Auditioners will be required to read selected sides from the script.

ArtsWest presents the Seattle Premiere of Measure for Pleasure by David Grimm, October 21 - November 14.

On Tuesday, October 13 the Red Cedar Grill will hold a special event to benefit the Williamston Theatre. During the evening, customers will be treated to the talents of local singer/songwriter Ed Groves as well as a host of acts performed by regular actors on the Williamston Theatre stage. WMMQ's Deb Hart will be the Celebrity Host of the event. The restaurant will donate 20% of all proceeds for the evening to the Williamston Theatre, mid-Michigan's newest professional, not-for-profit, live theatre.

Broadway Theatre of Pitman is set to present Halloween Spooktacular on October 23rd at 10am and October 24 at 10am and 1pm.

Burning Coal Theatre Company, a small professional theatre located in Raleigh, North Carolina, will conclude the second "Sunday Afternoon Music Series" with a concert of the ensemble "ELM collective". Following the success of last year's Main Street/Fayetteville Street, Burning Coal is excited to announce our next collaboration with Raleigh City Museum, Fayetteville Street Follies. The production, with a script by Oakwood writer Ian Finley, and featuring actors from Burning Coal Theatre Company, will visit several sites along Fayetteville Street to bring to life the stories of Raleigh's hooligans, heroes, crooks and cowards.
