Ars Nova presents THE ARS NOVA REVOLUTION, celebrating Ars Nova All Stars Jill Furman, Thomas Kail and Lin-Manuel Miranda, from Freestyle Love Supreme (Ars Nova, 2004) to HAMILTON (Broadway, 2015). This epic night of revelry benefiting Ars Nova's artist community, featuring performances by cast members of Hamilton and Freestyle Love Supreme, was held just last night at The Edison Ballroom (240 West 47th Street). Happy Birthday Marc Kudisch! Kudisch was nominated for the Tony Award first for the role of Trevor Graydon in Thoroughly Modern Millie (Drama Desk and Outer Critics nominations as well), and then for Baron Bomburst in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (Outer Critics nomination as well). His other Broadway roles include The Proprietor in Assassins (Drama Desk nomination), Jeff Moss in Bells Are Ringing, Jackie in The Public Theatre's production of The Wild Party, Chauvelin in the 3rd incarnation of The Scarlet Pimpernel, George Kittredge in High Society, Gaston in Beauty and the Beast, and Reuben in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

Last week on LATE SHOW WITH STEPHEN COLBERT, in honor of the release of 'The Carol Burnett Show: The Lost Episodes,' Kevin Spacey surprised his idol Carol Burnett with a very special poem. 'There's actually somebody here tonight, and you are his idol,' Colbert told Burnett, 'and it's the actor Kevin Spacey, and he would like to come out and say hi.' The HOUSE OF CARDS star then appeared and read the poem in his best Jimmy Stewart impersonation, which brought Ms. Burnett to tears. CLICK HERE to watch the appearance. All last week at 54 Below, Tony Award nominee Will Swenson took the stage for his Feinstein's/54 Below solo debut. He's had special guests all week including wife Audra McDonald, Nick Adams and Caissie Levy. Below, watch as Swenson reunites with his LES MISERABLES castmate Ramin Karimloo to perform what else, but 'The Confrontation' and 'A Little Fall of Rain.'

Today in 1966, Annie Get Your Gun opened at the Broadway Theatre, where it ran for 77 performances.Annie Get Your Gun is a musical with lyrics and music written by Irving Berlin and a book by Herbert Fields and his sister Dorothy Fields. The story is a fictionalized version of the life of Annie Oakley (1860-1926), who was a sharpshooter from Ohio, and her husband, Frank Butler. Songs that became hits include 'There's No Business Like Show Business', 'Doin' What Comes Natur'lly', 'You Can't Get a Man with a Gun', 'They Say It's Wonderful', and 'Anything You Can Do.'

Marc Acito has a lot to look forward to this fall. in just weeks, is words will come to life onstage when ALLEGIANCE begins previews at the Longacre Theatre (220 West 48th Street). The musical, inspired by George Takei's true-life story, marks Acito's Broadway debut- a feat that he didn't even consider possible just six years ago.

Happy Birthday, Stephanie J. Block! On Broadway, Block has starred in The Boy From Oz, Wicked, The Pirate Queen, 9 To 5, Anything Goes, and The Mystery of Edwin Drood. In addition, she originated the role of Elphaba in the first national tour of Wicked and in 2010 starred as Grizabella in the Municipal Opera Production production of Cats. Also that year, she starred as Sonia Walsk alongside Jason Alexander in the Reprise Theatre Company's production of They're Playing Our Song.

Today in 2008, A Tale of Two Cities opened at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre, where it ran for 60 performances. A Tale of Two Cities is a musical with book, music and lyrics by Jill Santoriello based on the novel of the same name by Charles Dickens.The Broadway production featured James Barbour, Natalie Toro, Aaron Lazar, Gregg Edelman, and Brandi Burkhardt.

Happy Birthday, Constantine Maroulis! 'American Idol' finalist Maroulis earned a 2009 Best Actor Tony Award nomination for portraying Drew, an aspiring musician with pipes of steel in the Tony-nominated musical Rock of Ages. He originated the role in the Off-Broadway production at New World Stages in 2008. He has also appeared on Broadway in The Wedding Singer, Off-Broadway in Jacques Brel..., and the national tour of RENT. He is starring in the Broadway-bound national tour of Frank Wildhorn's Jekyll & Hyde in the dual title role of Dr. Henry Jekyll and Edward Hyde with recording artist Deborah Cox (Broadway's Aida) as Lucy.

On Tuesday night, September 15, Ambassador and Mrs. Mario L. De Leon Jr., Consul General of the Philippines held a cocktail reception at their residence for the shining star of the Philippines, Lea Salonga celebrating her return to Broadway in the new musical Allegiance.
