MCC Theater presents the American Premiere of the play The End of Longing, a new play written by and starring 'Friends' star Matthew Perry in his NYC playwriting and stage acting debuts. Joining Perry is 'Once Upon a Time' and 'House' star Jennifer Morrison alongside stage and television regulars Quincy Dunn-Baker and Sue Jean Kim.

In Broadway by Design, BroadwayWorld is shining a spotlight on the stellar designs of this Broadway season, show by show. Today, we continue the series with David Gallo, Jane Cox and Toni-Leslie James, who acted as scenic, lighting and costume designers for August Wilson's final Broadway debut, Jitney.

Over the past 12 months, more than 40 plays and musicals opened in one of the most moving and exciting Broadway seasons in recent memory, and Dear Evan Hansen is deeply humbled and joy-filled to have been a part of it. Below, enjoy a celebration of the times had, the memories shared, and the friends found.

The 62nd Annual Drama Desk Awards, hosted by Michael Urie, were held at The Town Hall (123 W. 43rd Street) just last night, June 4th.

Manhattan Theatre Club's New York premiere of Cost of Living, the new play by Martyna Majok (Ironbound, Mouse in a Jar), directed by Jo Bonney (Father Comes Home from the Wars; By the Way, Meet Vera Stark), opens next Wednesday, June 7 at MTC at New York City Center - Stage I (131 West 55th Street). Performances began Tuesday May 16.

The Broadway at Birdland just welcomed Glenn Close, joined by the cast of Sunset Boulevard in a one-night-only event benefiting Bring Change 2 Mind, which works to end the stigma and discrimination surrounding mental illness. 'Vintage Hollywood' featured musical combinations celebrating the Golden Age of Hollywood, with musical direction by Michael Patrick Walker.

Producer Jordan Roth has several reasons to celebrate this season. Three of his productions earned nominations this season (Groundhog Day, Present Laughter and Falsettos) and he couldn't be happier about it!

Anatole is so much more than hot. Lucas Steele has been a part of Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812 from the very beginning, and in his years in the show, he's developed an incredibly nuanced version of Tolstoy's character. Regent's Park Open Air Theatre's 2017 season opens with the musical On the Town, directed and choreographed by Drew McOnie. With music by Leonard Bernstein and book and lyrics by Betty Comden and Adolph Green, including the hit song 'New York, New York', On the Town will be the biggest dance musical ever staged at the Open Air Theatre.
