Florida is hot. Right? It's hot sand, hot sun...hot musical theatre talent? YOU BET!. We welcomed the FSU "'Noles" to Broadway Sessions recently to celebrate their tremendous theatre program. '17 grads took the stage alongside Broadway vets Heather Parcells, Harris Milgrim, Christiani Pitts, Michael Hunker, Jennifer Swiderski and Stephen Anthony! The results were, well…HOT! Florida, after all.

Hamilton was in da house! Just last week, Hamilton stars Javier Munoz,  Brandon Victor Dixon, James Monroe Iglehart, Mandy Gonzalez, and Bryan Terrell Clark joined SAG-AFTRA Foundation and BroadwayWorld for a filmed Conversations Q&A series to recognize and celebrate the vibrant theatre community in New York City and the actors who aspire to have a career on the stage and screen.   

Broadway's sweetest new musical has been brought to the stage by three-time Tony Award winner Jack O'Brien and  Grammy and Tony Award winners Scott Wittman and Marc Shaiman.  Below, watch as the creative trio of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory stops by The Player's Club to chat about their creative process!

ERNEST SHACKLETON LOVES ME is the epic musical adventure starring GrooveLily's fierce and funny electro-violinist Valerie Vigoda (Striking 12), and the courageous and charismatic Wade McCollum (Priscilla Queen of the Desert). This innovative, high-tech adventure tells the story of a sleep-deprived single mom who struggles to work as a video game music composer. Unexpectedly, she is contacted across time by the famous polar explorer, Ernest Shackleton. Inspired by her music, he shares his epic Antarctic journey with her in video and song. Against all odds, they discover that their greatest inspiration lies within each other.

In Broadway by Design, BroadwayWorld is shining a spotlight on the stellar designs of this Broadway season, show by show. Today, we continue the series with David Korins, and Japhy Weideman, who acted as scenic and lighting designers for Broadway's emotional triumph, Dear Evan Hansen.

Denis Jones has taken his career from chorus boy to choreographer, and now Tony nominee! He just picked up his first nomination for his work on Roundabout Theatre Company's Holiday Inn, a joyous throwback to musicals of the MGM-era. Below, watch as he chats with Richard Ridge about how he drew inspiration from the past and made innovative and exciting dances for today.

Travers and the Walt Disney Film with original music and lyrics by Richard M. Sherman and Robert B. Sherman, book by Julian Fellowes, new songs and additional music and lyrics by George Stiles and Anthony Drewe, and co-created by Cameron Mackintosh. Director Christopher Ashley and choreographer Kelly Devine both earned Tony nominations for their work on the seven-time nominated Come From Away. Below, watch as the duo explains how they brought the musical to life on stage!

Self-professed theatre geek Ben Platt is living the dream as a first time Tony nominee for is performance as the title character in Dear Evan Hansen. The Southland Theatre Artists Goodwill Event (S.T.A.G.E.) just presented its 33rd annual gala, 'Idols & Icons,' at the historic Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills. This was the last S.T.A.G.E. show after 33 years. AIDS has not been cured, and the fight continues through APLA Health Services, despite the fact that the show has now taken its final bow in L.A.
