Off-Broadway's The New Group proudly announces that Lily Rabe will star in the company's world premiere of David Rabe's An Early History of Fire. Directed by Jo Bonney, this production opens in April 2012 at The New Group @ Theatre Row as part of the company's 2011-2012 Season.

Harry Potter star Tom Felton has finally made it to the Al Hirschfeld Theatre to see his on screen enemy Daniel Radcliffe in HOW TO SUCCEED, and he had a lot to say about the experience. Felton told Fanshare.com: 'I saw Daniel about a week ago and I was completely blown away. He really does excel. It's amazing, as well, how in one second, you see Harry Potter and he's completely gone within a minute; you're just looking at someone else.'

Ford's Theatre presents the Washington premiere of the Tony-winning musical drama 'Parade,' directed by Stephen Rayne, September 23 though October 30, 2011. The centerpiece of this year's programming for The Lincoln Legacy Project, Parade is based on the true story of Leo Frank's trial and lynching in early 20th-century Atlanta. Ostracized for his faith and Northern heritage, Jewish factory manager Leo Frank is accused of murdering a teenaged factory girl the day of the annual Confederate Memorial Day parade. Alfred Uhry's award-winning book and Jason Robert Brown's rousing, colorful and haunting score illuminate a circus of conflicting accounts, false testimony and mishandled evidence in a town reeling with social and racial tension. Isolated from the world, Leo develops a new and deeper love for his wife, who tirelessly crusades for his freedom. Broadway's Tony Award winning hit PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT THE MUSICAL will kick off PIX-11's 'Curtain Up!' Broadway week series with an exclusive behind the scenes television segment on Monday morning, August 22 in the 8:30am half hour (approximately 8:45am).

The Public Theater starts the 2011-2012 season with the return of NEW WORK NOW!, the popular reading series that allows audiences an opportunity to experience new work by a diverse selection of established and emerging theater artists. NEW WORK NOW! runs September 7-18 in The Public's Martinson Theater (425 Lafayette Street). All readings are free and open to the public. The Weston Playhouse Theatre Company presents the world premiere of Saint-Ex, a dazzling new musical about the life of author/aviator Antoine de Saint-Exupéry (The Little Prince). The work of author Sean Barry and composer Jenny Giering, Saint-Ex is directed by Kent Nicholson with a cast that includes Broadway veterans Alexander Gemignani, Krysta Rodriguez and Cass Morgan. Thanks to unprecedented support from the National Endowment for the Arts, the National Alliance for Musical Theatre's Fund for New Musicals, the Vermont Arts Council, the Vermont Community Foundation, and sponsorship from The Vermont Country Store, Saint-Ex will appear on the Weston MainStage from August 25 through September 10, including a week of special daytime matinee performances for area schools.

Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber's landmark musical EVITA opening on Broadway in the spring of 2012 at The Marquis Theatre, 1535 Broadway. SEt to star in the production are Ricky Martin (Che), Michael Cerveris (Juan Peron) and, in her Broadway debut, Olivier Award Winning Argentinean actress Elena Roger (Eva). Olivier Award winner Michael Grandage and Tony Award winner Rob Ashford will direct and choreograph, respectively. This is the first new Broadway production of the seven-time Tony Award-winning musical since it debuted on Broadway more than 30 years ago. The legend of King Arthur comes to vibrant life in Lerner and Loewe's classic musical. Against the backdrop of a king striving to bring order to his chaotic land, the fabled love affair between Arthur's best friend and most trusted knight Lancelot and Queen Guenevere threatens to bring down the kingdom. London's Union Theatre is set to revive The Baker's Wife, which will begin performances Sept. 21, and open Sept. 23. The production will be directed by Michael Strassen and feature Lisa Stokke as Geneviève.

Producers Lee Dean, Laurence Myers, Jenny Topper and Joey Parnes announced today that they will present Peter Quilter's End of the Rainbow, a new play with music, on Broadway this spring, following a run at Minneapolis's Guthrie Theatre. Starring Olivier® Award-winner Tracie Bennett in a bravura performance as Judy Garland and directed by the Tony® Award winning Terry Johnson, End of the Rainbow received rave reviews and four Olivier® Award nominations in London. Performances are scheduled to begin on Monday, March 19, 2012 at a Shubert Theatre (to be announced), with an opening night on Tuesday, April 3. The complete cast and creative team will be announced shortly.

MTM:UK Musical Awards are now in their 5th year at the Edinburgh Fringe and are now an integral part of the Festival. The American premiere of John Doyle's Ten Cents a Dance opens today on the Williamstown Theatre Festival (WTF) Main Stage. The refined production of the new Rodgers and Hart musical, which Doyle first conceived at England's Watermill Theatre, marks the first time a new musical has ever been presented on WTF's Main Stage. Ten Cents a Dancewill be the final presentation on the Main Stage for the 2011 Season at WTF, running August 11, 2011 through August 28, 2011 and opening August 12, 2011 at 7:30 p.m.Ten Cents a Dance is a co-production with McCarter Theatre Center. The new, off-Broadway production of RENT opened August 11 at New World Stages. The resurrection of the cult classic, written by Jonathan Larson, is being directed by Michael Greif, who directed the show's original off-Broadway and Broadway productions. The creative team includes choreographer Larry Keigwin, music supervisor Tim Weil, set designer Mark Wendland, costume designer Angela Wendt, lighting designer Kevin Adams, sound designer Brian Ronan, and projection designer by Peter Nigrini.
