This years' Jedermann Festival (Everyman Festival), which refers to the play Everyman of von Hofmannsthal, takes place between 20 and 30 October 2011 at the Berlin Cathedral, starring Winfried Glatzeder as Everyman, Barbara Wussow as Amour and Ilja as judge Mammon.

Actors' Equity Association announced today that James Earl Jones is the recipient of the 2011 Paul Robeson Award. Created in 1971, the Award recognizes a person who best exemplifies the principles by which Mr. Robeson lived.

Roundabout Theatre Company is presenting three-time Tony Award winner Frank Langella as 'Gregor Antonescu' in Terence Rattigan's drama Man and Boy, directed by Maria Aitken. Producers Jean Doumanian and Sonia Friedman announced today that tonight's performance of The Mountaintop, by Katori Hall, will be dedicated to civil rights pioneer and longtime Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. confidant Reverend Fred Shuttlesworth. Reverend Shuttlesworth passed away on Wednesday, October 5 at the age of 89, leaving behind a legacy of extraordinary work on behalf of the civil rights movement.
