The Tony award-winning Hugh Jackman has returned to Broadway this fall in Hugh Jackman, Back on Broadway at the Broadhurst Theatre. Jackman brings the one-man concert show to New York for a 10-week engagement. Previews began on October 25, 2011 in anticipation of a November 10 opening night. The production will run through January 1, 2012

Broadway veteranandGLEE star Lea Michele has landed aspot on Glomour Magazine's 2011 Women of the Year List, as 'The Diva Next Door.' In the December isuue, which will be available starting November 8, Michele tells Glamour: 'Women in powerful positions get labeled with the D word, but you have to use your diva-ness for good as a way to show your strengths. I have this fire in me and it's only getting stronger.'

The Public Theater (Artistic Director Oskar Eustis; Interim Executive Director Joey Parnes) announced complete casting today for William Shakespeare's TITUS ANDRONICUS, the third Public Lab production of the fall season. Directed by Michael Sexton, TITUS ANDRONICUS runs Tuesday, November 29 through Sunday, December 18 at The Public Theater, with an official press opening on Tuesday, December 13. Tickets for TITUS ANDRONICUS are on sale now; all tickets for Public Lab productions are $15.

Producers Jean Doumanian and Sonia Friedman announced today that the Broadway premiere of Katori Hall's The Mountaintop, now playing at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre, has extended its run by popular demand, and will now play performances through January 22.

American Airlines, a long-time patron and supporter of the arts, has formed a new partnership to produce the 'Hudson Union Society Salute to Broadway' speaker series. Signature Theatre Company (Founding Artistic Director James Houghton; Executive Director Erika Mallin), announced a change to the theatre's Legacy Program for the inaugural season at the Company's new home, Signature Center: the theatre will produce Albee's 1977 play, The Lady from Dubuque, in a new production featuring Tony Award winner Jane Alexander and directed by David Esbjornson. The world premiere of Edward Albee's Laying an Egg will be produced in a future season.

The Winter Play Season at [Inside] the Ford kicks off with Lonnie Carter's OBIE award-winning The Romance of Magno Rubio in English - plus the world premiere of Ang Romansa ni Magno Rubio, a new translation into Tagalog. PAE Live! presents five performances each week, three in English and two in Tagalog, with both versions directed by translator Bernardo Bernardo. The Romance of Magno Rubio opens on November 4, and Ang Romansa ni Magno Rubio follows on November 5.
