With Broadway's fall offerings celebrating their opening nights, attention has turned to what shows are slated to open for the 2012 spring season. It hasn't yet been set as a particularly full season for new musicals, but as the New York Times reported earlier this week, that could easily change by the time the spring rolls around.

Broadway's Tony, Olivier and Grammy Award-winning JERSEY BOYS, will celebrate its 6th Anniversary on Broadway this Sunday, November 6.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Broadway favorites Nathan Lane and Cheyenne Jackson are set to star in a comedy pilot on USA from Douglas McGrath. Lane will also executive produce the still untitled project.

In next wek's episode of FOX's GLEE, the kids prepare for opening night of the school musical, and several of them contemplate taking the next step with their significant other. Meanwhile, Coach Beiste takes a big chance in her personal life; and Finn has high hopes when a college football coach scouts the school's team.

Cameron Mathison ('All My Children,' 'Good Morning America') made his Broadway debut on Wednesday, November 2 in a cameo role in MARY POPPINS at the New Amsterdam Theatre. Mathison's performance will be shown as a part of a special 'Good Morning America' segment celebrating the 5th anniversary of MARY POPPINS on Broadway, airing Monday, November 7th at 7AM on ABC (schedule subject to change), in which he becomes the first non-cast member in the show's 7 year history to attempt Bert's 'proscenium walk.' Following the performance, Mathison, Steffanie Leigh (Mary Poppins), and Case Dillard (Bert at that evening's performance) were greeted backstage by Mathison's former 'All My Children' co-star, Susan Lucci. The 40th Anniversary production and first-ever Broadway revival of Stephen Schwartz's landmark rock musical GODSPELL is now in preview performances at Broadway's Circle in the Square Theatre (1633 Broadway at 50th Street). Directed by Daniel Goldstein and choreographed by Tony Award nominee Christopher Gattelli (South Pacific), Opening Night is Monday, November 7 (7 p.m.). According to the Hollywood Reporter, a SPIDER-MAN: TURN OFF THE DARK investor is suing the show for money that was used to license the Foxwoods Theatre. Patricia Lambrecht put $2.5 million into the show as collateral; so that 'even if the show never opened, the theater would be paid for restoration costs.'

Magic is in the making as rehearsals begin for Goodman Theatre's A Christmas Carol, 'a joyous present for the entire family' (Chicago Sun-Times) and 'ideal family fare, both heartwarming and spectacular in its familiar tale' (Chicago Tribune). According to published reports, Tony nominee Leonard Stone lost a battle with cancer on Wednesday, November 2. He was 87 years old.

London 2012 today launched the programme for the London 2012 Festival, a spectacular 12-week nationwide celebration bringing together leading artists from across the world with the very best from the UK, opening on Midsummer's Day 21 June and running until 9 September 2012.

Multiple Emmy & Golden Globe award-winning actress Sharon Gless returns to the London stage to star in the British premiere of A ROUND-HEELED WOMAN based on Jane Juska's best selling true-story book of the same name. The production, which is currently playing at Riverside Studios, will transfer to the West End's Aldwych Theatre on November 24. The production is scheduled to run through January 14.

The upcoming national tour of THE ADDAMS FAMILY- a new musical based on the bizarre and beloved family of characters created by legendary cartoonist Charles Addams- has trimmed down its Chicago engageent, according to the Chicago Tribune. The show, which was scheduled to play The show will now play December 13 through January 1, will now run December 27 through January 1 at the Cadillac Palace Theatre.

Just in time for the holidays, Glee brings joy to the world with the release of Glee: The Music, The Christmas Album Volume 2, available Tuesday, November 15, 2011. The Glee holiday cheer is spread with the cast's own festive renditions of such Christmas staples as 'Little Drummer Boy', 'Let It Snow' and 'All I Want For Christmas Is You'. Especially poignant is the GLEE Cast's interpretation of Band Aid's 1984 hit 'Do They Know Its Christmas?,' which raised money to benefit famine relief in Ethiopia and sold 1 million copies in it's first week. While GLEE's Ryan Murphy's is working on a big screen adaptation of 'The Normal Heart', Larry Kramer is still looking to spread the message of the play on stage. Kramer told Metro Weekly: 'Daryl Roth has been the most amazing producer anyone could ever work with. She's just in love with this play, and she pledged to me that she would take it on tour and that she would get it done in England. And she's working toward both of those.
