Oh, Hello on BROADWAY, marks the Broadway premiere of two of the two hottest voices in comedy today, Nick Kroll (Comedy Central's 'Kroll Show') and John Mulaney (Netflix's 'The Comeback Kid'), starring as their wildly popular alter egos Gil Faizon and George St. Geegland. Directed by Alex Timbers, the 15-week strictly limited engagement begins previews Friday evening, September 23, opens Monday, October 10, and will run through Sunday, January 8, 2017.

As BroadwayWorld recently reported, HAIRSPRAY LIVE! has completed it's all-star dream cast with not one, but two final cast members - direct from Broadway! In the role of Seaweed will be Ephraim Sykes of HAMILTON and playing his sister, Little Inez will be Shahadi Wright Joseph, who made history at age 9 as the youngest actor to play Young Nala in Disney's Broadway production of THE LION KING and was part of the original cast of SCHOOL OF ROCK.

Earlier this week, Darren Criss and friends took to the stage at the Ford Amphitheater on Coney Island for the second annual Elsie Fest, a one-day outdoor music festival celebrating stars and songs from the stage and screen.

Twenty-five years ago, Disney's 'Beauty and the Beast' broke ground as the first animated feature film to receive an Academy Award® nomination for best picture, and now this tale as old as time has joined the Walt Disney Signature Collection on Digital HD and Disney Movies Anywhere, and on Sept. 20 on Blu-ray and DVD. 

Frozen fans may still have to wait years until a stage version of the animated hit takes its first bow on Broadway, but here's a little treat to hold you over. WP Theater will soon present two-time Grammy-nominated comedian Lisa Lampanelli (HBO, Comedy Central, The Howard Stern Show), Outer Critics Circle Award winner Ann Harada (Avenue Q, Cinderella), Obie Award Winning actress Zainab Jah (Eclipsed) and rising actress Jessica Luck, in the world premiere of STUFFED, a new play written by Lampanelli, with additional material by Ashley Austin Morris.

Studio Tenn and Tennessee Performinig Arts Center's will present Evita this September (9-18), starring Broadway diva Eden Espinosa in the title role, Anthony Crivello as Juan Peron and Ben Crawford as Che.

Happy Birthday, Lea Michele! Best known to theatre audiences for her role as 'Wendla' in the Tony Award-winning Broadway production of Spring Awakening, Michele was nominated for a Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Actress in a Musical for her performance. She also starred in the Broadway productions of Les Miserables, Ragtime and Fiddler on the Roof. For her work on GLEE, Michele was honored with a Golden Globe nomination for Best Television Actress - Comedy or Musical and an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series.

Today in 1977, Chicago closed at the 46th Street Theatre (now the Richard Rodgers Theatre), where it ran for 936 performances. Chicago is a musical set in Prohibition-era Chicago, with music is by John Kander with lyrics by Fred Ebb and a book by Ebb and Bob Fosse. Chicago's 1996 Broadway revival holds the record for the longest-running musical revival on Broadway and is its fourth longest-running show.
