Lena Hall is reprising her Tony Award-winning performance as Yitzhak in the National Tour of Hedwig and the Angry Inch, the 2014 Tony Award-winning Best Musical Revival, in performances at the SHN Golden Gate Theatre in San Francisco (through October 30, 2016) and the Hollywood Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles (November 1-27, 2016), opposite Darren Criss. In a groundbreaking twist, she'll also play the role of Hedwig for one performance a week in San Francisco and Los Angeles. It is a rare occasion for a Tony Award winner to go on national tour, and historic for the same person to play both Hedwig and Yitzhak.

Next week at Feinstein's/54 Below, 2014 Tony Nominee Jarrod Spector will premiere a brand new show, Jukebox Life (running November 1-5 & 13), following his celebrated A Little Help From My Friends concert tour and CD.

Just last night, New York City Center presented Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's Sunday in the Park with George, which will run through October 26.

Keen Company's new production of Jonathan Larson's Tick, Tick... BOOM!,  is now playing at the Acorn Theatre at Theatre Row (410 West 42nd Street, between 9th and 10th Avenues) . The show will continue through November 20th only.

Second Stage Theatre's New York Premiere production of NOTES FROM THE FIELD: DOING TIME IN EDUCATION, the latest work created, written and performed by groundbreaking theatre artist Anna Deavere Smith with music composed and performed by Marcus Shelby and directed by Leonard Foglia, will open on November 2, 2016 at the Tony Kiser Theatre (305 West 43rd Street). Previews will begin on October 15.

Just last week, Mastercard cardholders got the chance to take a culinary tour of the Great White Way at NYCWFF's brand new event, Broadway Tastes, where renowned chefs will served up delicious brunch dishes inspired by over a dozen of today's most popular Broadway musicals. Celebrities and foodies Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka served as hosts for this magical morning at Metropolitan West, where guests got the chance to interact with cast members from their favorite Broadway shows and sample tasty brunch fare prepared by all-star chefs.

Rehearsals are underway for the Broadway premiere of A BRONX TALE THE MUSICAL, the new musical featuring a book by Academy Award nominee Chazz Palminteri, music by Oscar, Grammy, and Tony Award winner Alan Menken, and lyrics by Grammy Award winner and Oscar and Tony Award nominee Glenn Slater, co-directed by two-time Oscar winner Robert De Niro and four-time Tony Award winner Jerry Zaks, with choreography by Tony nominee Sergio Trujillo. A BRONX TALE THE MUSICAL begins previews Thursday, November 3 and open Thursday, December 1 at the Longacre Theatre (220 West 48th Street).

Earlier this week, New York Life kicked-off 'The Reindeer Games,' in celebration of Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer: The Musical, taking flight for the first time in New York City at The Theater at Madison Square Garden this holiday season.

On Monday night, the biggest names from Broadway and Hollywood took the stage for aHillary Clinton fundraiser- STRONGER TOGETHER. One of the highlights of the event, which took place at New York's St. James Theatre, featured Tony Award winners Lin-Manuel Miranda and his Hamilton co-star Renee Elise Goldsberry, performing a revised election-themed version of the musical's, 'Ten Duel Commandments.' Roundabout Theatre Company presents Mike Bartlett's (King Charles III) new play, Love, Love Love, directed by Michael Mayer. The cast includes Richard Armitage (The Hobbit), Alex Hurt (Cat on a Hot Tin Roof), Zoe Kazan (The Seagull), Ben Rosenfield ('Boardwalk Empire') and two-time Tony nominee Amy Ryan ('The Office,' A Streetcar Named Desire). The Broadway engagement of Manhattan Theatre Club's acclaimed world premiere of Heisenberg, the new play by Tony Award and two-time Olivier Award winner Simon Stephens, directed by Drama Desk Award winner Mark Brokaw, starring original cast members Denis Arndt and Tony and Emmy Award winner Mary-Louise Parker opens tonight at MTC's Samuel J.
