Over-the-Rhine Hosts GO OTR 5K Run/Walk & Summer Celebration, 5/22May 13, 2010Cincinnati's most historic and diverse neighborhood, Over-the-Rhine, is hosting the Go OTR 5K run/walk and an all day festival, OTR/Gateway Quarter Summer Celebration, on May 22nd. The GO/OTR 5K race begins at 10 am; as part of the Celebration, artist booths and the garage sale will open at 10 am as well. The Celebration ends at 7 pm and includes a wide range of musical acts will perform throughout the day. It all begins at the corner of 12th and Vine streets in Over-the-Rhine.
Ordway Announces 2010 Flint Hills International Children's Festival, 6/1-6May 13, 2010The Ordway Center for the Performing Arts today announced the schedule for the 2010 Flint Hills International Children's Festival. The Boston Pops Features Kellaway's Music at 'Presidents at Pop' Gala, 5/19 May 13, 2010On May 19th, the Boston Pops will feature the music of award winning pianist, composer Roger Kellaway at their 'Presidents At Pops' Gala. The piece is called 'We The People' with lyrics by Alan and Marilyn Bergman and will be performed that evening by vocalist Patti Austin. Craig Noel Memorial Held at Balboa Park's Spreckels Organ Pavilion 5/24May 11, 2010Old Globe Executive Producer Lou Spisto announces that the memorial service honoring Founding Director of The Old Globe, Craig Noel, on Monday, May 24 at 7:00 p.m. will now be held at the historic Spreckels Organ Pavilion in Balboa Park. The memorial, 'Celebrating the Theatrical Legacy of Craig Noel,' was originally scheduled to be held in the Old Globe Theatre. Due to the size of the response, the event has been moved to the larger outdoor venue. Following the service, a reception will be held on the theater's Copley Plaza, a short walk from the Pavilion. The memorial service is free and open to all.
