Sundance Now, AMC Networks' premium video streaming service, today announced the greenlight of season two of its original relationship dramedy, “This Close.” The groundbreaking series, hailed by Entertainment Weekly as “this close to perfect,” is created, written and stars Shoshannah Stern and Josh Feldman -- two real life best friends, both of whom are deaf. “This Close” will begin production on its eight-episode second season in summer 2018 in Los Angeles.

Details for the 9th annual MONSTERS OF ROCK CRUISE -- the world's largest, and premier hard rock/heavy metal music cruise on the seven seas -- have been announced.

SYFY Films today announces the release of the upcoming film HOVER, in theaters on June 29, 2018 and on VOD and Digital HD on July 3, 2018. Directed by Matt Osterman (400 DAYS, “Ghost from the Machine”), the science fiction film marks the feature screenwriting debut of Cleopatra Coleman (“The Last Man on Earth,” “White Famous”).  Melodic hardcore legends Hopesfall have announced that they will be playing two special shows this July around the release of their new record, Arbiter. The band will take the stage for the first time since 2011 for Kerrang Presents on July 14th at Saint Vitus in Brooklyn, and on July 21st at Neighborhood Theatre in Charlotte. On February 25, veteran comic Kevin Smith took the stage at the Alex Theater in Glendale, CA to perform the first of two planned stand-up shows. But right after the first show ended, he suffered a near-fatal heart attack. Smith cheated death, and the special shot that fateful evening, KEVIN SMITH: SILENT BUT DEADLY, will make its world premiere Friday, May 11 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on SHOWTIME.

The Country Music Association has announced the return of the popular free nightly concerts during CMA Fest at the Cracker Barrel Country Roads Stage located in downtown Nashville's Ascend Amphitheater Thursday, June 7 through Saturday, June 9, starting at 7:00 PM/CT each evening.
