Mind Over Mirrors has announced a new song-cycle and album entitled Bellowing Sun, which will be released by Paradise of Bachelors on April 6th and premiered live at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago the same night. An encore performance will be presented April 7th. Mind Over Mirrors' Jaime Fennelly has been developing Bellowing Sun for three years, composing the music and recording the album, as well as co-designing and building a massive zoetrope that will be installed above the ensemble during live iterations of the piece. The production was commissioned by the MCA.

The Gaslight Anthem has announced a very special series of shows celebrating the 10th anniversary of their milestone second studio album, THE '59 SOUND. The New Jersey-based rock band will travel North America and Europe performing the album in its entirety, with dates beginning May 27th at Washington, DC's legendary 9:30 Club and then traveling into mid-August. As previously announced, The Gaslight Anthem will also perform THE '59 SOUND in its entirety at this year's Governors Ball Music Festival. 

Ramping up their preparations for South West Four's 15th anniversary edition on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th August, the organizers of London's leading electronic music festival have declared the latest batch of dance music titans for the 2018 edition.

Chris Stapleton's ALL AMERICAN ROAD SHOW will hit the road again in 2018 including newly confirmed shows at New York's Madison Square Garden, Los Angeles' The Forum and Chicago's Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre among others. The New York Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment Commissioner Julie Menin today announced that #ThatsHarassment, the innovative and impactful video campaign conceived by actor and producer David Schwimmer and director Sigal Avin, will run on City-owned media properties Taxi TV and NYC Media for the duration of 2018. This timely and provocative video series will reach a wide, diverse audience of New Yorkers and visitors to the city, promoting crucial conversations around sexual misconduct and gender inequality at a moment when these issues have never been more relevant.

New Netflix sitcom ALEXA & KATIE premiering this March will center around a teenage girl undergoing cancer treatment at the start of her high school career. The show stars Disney favorite Paris Berelc (Alexa) and newcomer Isabel May (Katie). The 13-episode first season will be the first multi-camera sitcom produced by Netflix.

The box office is officially open for Mean Girls, the new musical produced by Lorne Michaels, Stuart Thompson, Sonia Friedman, and Paramount Pictures based on the hit film. Preview performances begin Monday, March 12 and opening night is Sunday, April 8 at the August Wilson Theatre (245 West 52nd Street, NYC).

According to the Hollywood Reporter, THE TALE led by Emmy and Golden Globe Winner Laura Dern has been acquire by HBO Films. The film also stars Common, Jason Ritter, and Elizabeth Debicki. THE TALE, written by Jennifer Fox, debuted at the U.S. Drama Section of the Sundance Film Festival. 

According to Variety,  Tony Winner Mary Louise Parker (Proof, Angels in America, Weeds) will star alongside another Tony Winner Courtney B. Vance (Lucky Guy, Law & Order) in the new FX comedy series COMPLIANCE. The show will be directed by Sam Gold (Fun Home) and produced by Scott Rudin Productions.

According to Variety, the Lifton Institute for Media Arts & Sciences has recently developed Reel People, a program dedicated to training high-functioning autistic adults to obtain jobs in the film industry. The program was introduced last month by sound man and producer Jimmy Lifton. As a two-time Emmy winner, Lifton has recently dedicated his time to helping homeless veterans obtain trade jobs, and is now continuing to succeed with this new program centered around the positive qualities of a person with autism such as intense focus, determination, and attention to detail. 

HELLO, DOLLY! at the Shubert Theatre displayed a warm welcome for the 90th Annual Grammy Awards' return to New York City in anticipation of the upcoming broadcast this Sunday, January 28th. The hit revival is a 2018 Grammy Award® nominee for Best Musical Theater Album and winner of the 1965 Grammy Award for Song of the Year.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Jeffrey Donovan (BURN NOTICE) is scheduled to star alongside Zac Efron in the upcoming Ted Bundy film EXTREMELY WICKED, SHOCKINGLY EVIL, AND VILE. Donovan joins Efron, along with John Malkovich (PLACES IN THE HEART) and Lily Collins (MIRROR MIRROR). 

According to the Hollywood Reporter Luca Guadagnino, director of the recent hit film CALL ME BY YOUR NAME, has big plans for the sequel. Guadagnino recently revealed his hopes for the franchise to continue as a series and incorporate the AIDS epidemic much like the original novel. Though the setting of the movie is earlier than that of the novel, Guadagnino hopes to continue the story through the 1980's, the height of the crisis, claiming 'I think it's going to be a very relevant part of the story.'

In a recent report from ET, it appears the biggest stars in the entertainment industry will show their support for the Time's Up movement by wearing a white rose at the 90th Annual Grammy Awards. Music stars such as Kelly Clarkson, Miley Cyrus, Rita Ora and Bebe Rexha have already confirmed their support of this decision and are expected to display the symbol of unity at the presentation on Sunday, January 28th.

According to Deadline, Apple has ordered a new drama series from Academy Award winning director Damien Chazelle (La La Land). Chazelle is scheduled to write and direct the series. Justin Horowitz (La La Land) will serve as Executive Producer along with Fred Berger under his Automatik banner. The series will be produced by MRC (House of Cards, Counterpart) and will be the Chazelle's second venture into television.

According to CNN, the Black Lives Matter movement serves as the inspiration for the upcoming Netflix Drama 'Seven Seconds' written by Veena Sud. The show also focuses on the the flaws of the justice system and how this contributed to the start of the Black Lives Matter movement.

According to the Hollywood Reporter the 2018 Academy Awards nominations, for director especially, are much more diverse than recent years. Announced earlier this week, nominees for the 90th Annual Academy Awards include actors of color in major acting categories along with men of color and a woman nominated for directing. The #OscarsSoWhite hashtag which was trending throughout the last several years has not seen a major comeback this year. This step towards a more diverse Awards Show occurs after The Academy of of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences faced backlash for nominating all white actors in leading acting categories 2016 and 2015.
