Acclaimed Canadian-based guitarist, composer, and producer JESSE COOK has added additional tour dates to his 'Beyond Borders' U.S. tour. The upcoming trek, running throughout February and April, is in support of the musician's latest studio album, BEYOND BORDERS (September, 2017 via eOne Music), which debuted at #1 on the iTunes World Music Albums Chart.

From night until morning, Jazz Holdouts frontmen Alan Palanker and Lou Cortelezzi have been toiling away in the studio diligently conceiving ultramodern electronic soundscapes to pair with their enticing keyboard and saxophone melodies. Last summer, they came up with a sensual blend of throbbing house music, nocturnal chill nuances and steamy contemporary jazz harmonies on a cut titled “Summer Nights,” which went No. 1 on the Billboard and Mediabase charts. Going downtempo for a laidback oeuvre of sunrise seduction, the duo wrote and produced “Morning Breeze,” the follow-up single that began going for radio playlist adds on Monday.      

While having been in the group's live rotation for a number of years, Fruition offered up a new take on 'There She Was' which was rearranged for the studio and new album. The band later played the old arrangement the next night, on New Year's Eve proper, as a nod to the differences between the two versions of the song.

Academy Award® nominated filmmaker Joe Berlinger's powerful documentary INTENT TO DESTROY: Death, Denial & Depiction, which was produced by Survival Pictures, RadicalMedia, and Third Eye Motion Picture Company in association with Bloom Project will premiere on iTunes on February 1st.  The highly engrossing film-within-a film centers on the Armenian Genocide of 1915 and emerged as one of the most critically acclaimed films at this year's Tribeca and Hot Docs Film Festivals. 

Blue Note Hawaii is continuing its second anniversary celebration with the week-long residency of jazz trumpeter Chris Botti. The Hawaii News Now Jazz Legends series kicks off with musical icon Chick Corea. Returning to the Blue Note Hawaii stage by popular demand is guitar legend Lee Ritenour. There are also powerful tributes to Whitney Houston featuring Ginai, Quincy Jones and John Coltrane with Mike Lewis & Friends. There's reggae on tap with a celebration of Bob Marley's birthday in what promises to be an amazing evening of music. Josh Kaye & Friends will pay homage to Nina Simone featuring vocalist Sherry Graham.

Fresh from a four-continent tour that saw her play high-energy concerts across the United States, Canada, Japan, Australia and the United Kingdom, acclaimed Canadian rocker Terra Lightfoot has released a new video for her infectious single “Pinball King” and announced a new run of North American live dates for early 2018 (see below for U.S. dates).

Bad Wolves are currently dominating the rock and metal charts around the globe with their cover of The Cranberries' “Zombie”. Cranberries singer Dolores O'Riordan was scheduled to record guest vocals on the song the very day of her tragic passing. The band decided to move forward and release the track in her memory with all proceeds going to her three children.

Manchester's Parklife Festival is back for 2018 with another unrivalled line up playing out over the weekend of Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th June at Heaton Park. The 2018 festival will host the homecoming performance from Liam Gallagher who makes his first return to Heaton Park since Oasis' famous shows in 2009, plus headline appearances from grime pioneer Skepta, indie trio The XX, Pharrell's original band N*E*R*D. Ticketmaster, a Live Nation Entertainment company, has announced that it has signed an exclusive ticketing deal with BBC Music's The Biggest Weekend. The music festival will take place on four sites, in all four nations that make up the UK, over four days across the late May bank holiday weekend (25-28 May).

Dessert is served! Netflix announced today Chef's Table: Pastry, launching globally on April 13. The four-part series will go inside the lives and kitchens of the world's most renowned international pastry chefs. Each episode focuses on a single chef and takes a unique look at their life, talent, and passion, from their piece of culinary heaven. Christina Tosi, the creative baker and business force behind dessert shop Milk Bar, will be among the featured chefs. Chef's Table: Pastry is created and executive produced by David Gelb, and is a Boardwalk Pictures Production. Episodes are directed by Gelb, Andrew Fried and Brian McGinn. Fried and McGinn are executive producers with Dane Lillegard as Co-Executive Producer for Boardwalk Pictures.

Created and executive produced by Emmy Award winner Lena Waithe (Master of None) and executive produced by Academy Award®, Emmy and Golden Globe® winner Common (Selma), THE CHI explores the humanity behind the headlines sensationalizing the South Side of Chicago. Ayanna FloydDavis (Empire, Hannibal) has signed on for season two as executive producer and showrunner. Produced by Fox 21 Television Studios, the series will go back into production in Chicago later this year.

Mute will be released on Netflix, February 23, 2018.
