Last night's 'Sunday Night Football' Hall of Fame preseason game delivered the best overnight rating for any NFL preseason game on any network in six years. The 7.6 overnight rating and 13 share (8:15-11 p.m. ET) for the Dallas Cowboys-Cincinnati Bengals preseason game was the best since the 8.2/13 for the Titans-Cowboys preseason game on August 30, 2004 on ABC.

Sunday's edition of BIG BROTHER posted its largest audience of the summer on any night and notched viewer gains over last week and last year, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Aug. 8.

The premiere of Disney's exhilarating rock 'n roll musical 'Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam,' starring Demi Lovato and Jonas Brothers, will be presented across Labor Day weekend with four event telecasts -- each celebrating music and dance with a storyline that suggests life is about the way you play. St. Petersburg Opera is packing its fifth season with audience favorites, starting with Sondheim's A Little Night Music on September 17, 18, and 19, 2010. Hailed as witty and wildly romantic, A Little Night Music tells the story of a tangled web of former and current lovers. Sondheim's evocative lyrics about love and relationships are set to memorable waltzes and familiar melodies like 'Send in the Clowns' Buffy Baggott will play Desiree Armfeldt; Kenneth Derby will be her former lover, Fredrik Egermann. Both Baggott and Derby have extensive Broadway and opera experience.

In Ross's historically accurate romantic comedy, ELIZABETH SHAKESPEARE and the ASTUTE DETECTIVE, The Astute Detective of the title, Tad Maxwell, an Oxfordian, believes that Edward de Vere, The Earl of Oxford was the true author of Shakespeare's works. Via his computer he conjures up The Bard and The Earl from their four centuries' demise. His sleuthing brings him into conflict with Elizabeth Shakespeare, sexy Stratfordian, who is positive that William Shakespeare was the true author of the plays and sonnets. As Maxwell tries to coax her to his point of view, she fights her physical (and mental) attraction to this romantic iconoclast. It gets down to a duel of wits about wills and Wills (with a little romance along the way). With much at stake, the eventual outcome will surprise, and delight, Oxfordians, Stratfordians, and even those who don't know their 'Othello' from their 'Pericles.'

Tickets are now on sale for Hackmatack Playhouse's post-season (Labor Day weekend) light opera finale 'Cox and Box' and 'Bon Appétit' performed by Richard Conrad and the Bostonians. Arthur Sullivan's first comic success was 'Cox and Box', the story of a landlord who lets his room to two lodgers - one by day, and one by night. Same admission, same show, audience members will also be treated to 'Bon Appétit', a loving (but comic) tribute to Julia Child - cake and all! The script used was an actual Julia Child script from a WGBH-TV broadcast.
