GSN Announces 'Dog Park Superstars' New Original Special, Premieres 8/29August 14, 2010GSN (Game Show Network) announced today a one- hour special, DOG PARK SUPERSTARS, an action-packed show in which dogs and their owners compete in intriguing and funny games of skill, teamwork and obedience. Comedian Owen Benjamin ('The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,' 'Punk'd') and actress-producer-dog maven Laura Nativo ('Greatest American Dog') will serve as co-hosts. DOG PARK SUPERSTARS airs on Sunday, August 29th at 7:00 p.m. ET/ 4:00p.m. PT.
SPLINTERED SELF: A Conjoined Body of Work by Amanda Dillingham & Jason Driskill, 9/4-9/25August 14, 2010'Splintered Self', a conjoined project developed by artist Amanda Dillingham and Jason Driskill, will be on exhibit at the Blend Studio, 79 Arcade building, downtown Nashville. The opening reception will be Saturday, September 4th from 6-9 pm during the First Saturday Gallery Crawl. In addition to the exhibit at Blend Studio, the artists are accepting photos from the public to be used in the exhibit (see below). An artist talk is planned for September 25th from 4 to 5:30pm at Blend Studio.

Arden Playhouse Needs Cast Members for 'Trust Me'August 14, 2010Siblings Robert and Charlene have to delay the termination of their trust while they put a plan together to take over their deceased uncle's company. Their plan to confuse the trust lawyer by switching roles is complicated by the early arrival of the backer for their takeover plan. When the trust lawyer arrives they have to create another set of 'cousins' to explain which sibling is which. Complicating the situation, Robert and Charlene find they are attracted to the guests. Then there is the housekeeper who is trying to remember which sibling is which while sneaking a few sips of very old sherry and developing a passion for dancing. And, of course, the lemonade laced with pain killer...and it all gets very wild and confusing.
