Kicking off on September 16, 2010 with projects in both the theater and gallery, REDCAT gathers artists of diverse backgrounds and disciplines from around the world, encouraging exploration and discovery among its artists as well as its patrons. The season opening features a world premiere by legendary Indonesian choreographer Sardono W. Kusumo in collaboration with renowned lighting designer Jennifer Tipton; and the Los Angeles debut presentation of two pioneers of video art in China, Zhang Peili and Zhu Jia.

STAGE TUBE: The Flying Karamazov Brothers Return to Minetta Lane with 4PLAYAugust 9, 2010The Flying Karamazov Brothers returned in triumph to the Minetta Lane Theatre for an open-ended engagement in their hit show 4PLAY beginning Thursday, July 22. The show officially opened Monday, August 9 at 7pm. This follows the show's limited engagement that played the Minetta Lane February 8 through March 7 to great critical acclaim and popular success (and not a few pies in the face!). When he continues e-mail exchanges with the girl at this wrong address and starts dating the beautiful 'mystery girl,' he just can't figure out why she's not the same in-person as in her online messages. Eventually, he learns who he's actually been 'e-relating' to.
Planet Green Announces Season 2 of THE FABULOUS BEEKMAN BOYSAugust 9, 2010Planet Green today announced the greenlight for season two of THE FABULOUS BEEKMAN BOYS, the docu-series following urbanite couple Brent Ridge and Josh Kilmer-Purcell in their attempt to become 'gentleman farmers.' The second 10-episode season will air during the first half of 2011, with Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato's World of Wonder again producing for Planet Green.
