Neil Nathan, New York folk-tinged rocker and former roommate of Rosario Dawson (Harmony Korine's Kids, Men in Black II, Sin City, Grindhouse, etc.) is lucky enough to have his friend appear in his latest music video, 'California Run', which was directed by Ric Serena and Vaj Potenza. Steps Off Broadway Productions, located in The Bellingham Marketplace, is offering a Family Fun Day to celebrate the end of summer. The event will offer a host of activities including carnival-style games, food and beverages, live performances and much, much more. The annual event will feature some unique options for entertainment, such as having your face painted, by one of the cast members of the musical 'Cats', to look like one of the show's musical felines. There will be a bevy of characters from the Broadway stage, including Dorothy from 'The Wizard of Oz', the stars of the mega-hit musical,'Godspell', The Phantom of the Opera and many more. Games of skill and live drawings will offer the chance to win prizes, free classes at Steps, dinner and show packages, beauty treatments, plus more surprises. There will even be a chance for you or your young star-to-be to take the stage in a karaoke competition.

St. Petersburg Opera opens its Fifth season with Stephen Sondheim's musical masterpiece composed entirely in 3/4 time, or in variations thereof. A Little Night Music won the Tony Award for Best Musical when it premiered in 1973. Currently showing in revival on Broadway, actress Catherine Zeta-Jones recently won the Tony Award for Best Actress in a musical for her portrayal as Desiree Armfeldt. The song 'Send in the Clowns' has become a popular music standard and has been recorded by dozens of superstars, including Frank Sinatra, Barbra Streisand and Judy Collins, whose recording garnered Sondheim the 1975 Grammy for Song of the Year.
