Today, February 1, tickets go on sale for the world-renowned Royal Shakespeare Company's critically acclaimed production of Julius Caesar. The production, directed with a new twist by the RSC's new Artistic Director Gregory Doran, is set in present-day Africa with a cast of highly acclaimed, black British actors and live, contemporary West African music, fostering the resonance of this classic tragedy. Having opened to five-starreviews in the UK last year, the Columbus run is the production's only North American engagement following its New York City premiere in April.

Carly Sakolove will begin an open-ended engagement of her one-woman show, I HEAR VOICES, on February 22nd at The Duplex. Conductor Hannu Lintu will lead the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra (BSO) and pianist Stephen Hough in Liszt's Second Piano Concerto on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at 8 p.m. at The Music Center at Strathmore and Friday, February 8, 2013 and Saturday, February 9, 2013 at 8pm at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall. Producer Eric S. The Chicago Fringe Festival announces its application dates for designers interested in submitting work to the 2013 Fringe Festival Design Contest. The winning design appears on all of the marketing and promotional materials for the 2013 Chicago Fringe Festival, August 29 - September 8. Submissions are accepted from individuals or more than one individual through March 15 with the winning design announced in April.
