The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts presents Franz Kafka's Metamorphosis by Icelandic theater collective Vesturport in collaboration with Lyric Hammersmith (U.K.). Directed and adapted by Gisli Örn Gardarsson and David Farr, the production runs in the Eisenhower Theater from February 20-22 as part of Nordic Cool 2013. Press opening night is February 20, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. The production will be performed in English.

WaterTower Theatre's 2013 Spotlight Gala will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at the Addison Conference Center. The fundraising Gala is chaired by Barbara Daseke. The theme for this year's Gala is Blues in the Night and will feature entertaining blues and jazz music by Denise Lee, Cedric Neal, the Tu-Tones and the Briefcase Blues.

The Pittsburgh CLO Ambassadors hosted a Wine Tasting and Silent Auction preview party for sponsors and members of the press on January 29, at the Sheraton Station Square in Pittsburgh. The preview party was held to raise awareness for the Ambassadors' 16th Annual Wine Tasting and Silent Auction, which will take place Friday, March 1, 2013, at the Duquesne Club, and will feature wines from Capital Wine & Spirits.

The Museum of Modern Art announces Documentary Fortnight 2013: MoMA's International Festival of Nonfiction Film and Media, the 12th annual two-week showcase of recent documentary films examining the relationship between contemporary art and nonfiction practices, and reflecting on new areas of documentary filmmaking, from February 15 through March 4, 2013. This year's festival includes an International Selection of 21 feature-length films and 2 shorts, most of which are U.S. or New York premieres that will be presented by the filmmakers.

Geva Theatre Center's 40th Anniversary Season continues with The Book Club Play by Karen Zacarias, and directed by Sean Daniels. This delightful comedy about books and the people who read them begins performances on February 19 and runs in the Elaine P. Wilson Mainstage through March 17.

Tonequake Records (www.tonequake.com), an independent record label formed by noted producer, engineer and mixer Andrew Scheps (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Adele, U2) confirmed today that new records from both Austin band Act Rights and Swiss singer/songwriter Heidi Happy are confirmed for today and March 19 respectively. Both acts will be touring in support of their new records, performing at SXSW and in Heidi's case, appearing at Canadian Music Week this March and NXNE in June. Australia's hard rock band Twenty Two Hundred will also be dropping their debut album on Tonequake on February 19, 2013.

An immersive concert event featuring music from the most popular video games of all time, Video Games Live comes to Jacksonville's Times-Union Center's Moran Theater for one performance only on Thursday, January 31st at 7:30PM! Special events surround Video Games Live, including pre-show activities (costume contest, Guitar Hero competition, and prize give-a-ways) in the lobby starting at 6:15PM. The 2013 national tour of the new musical The Addams Family, based on the bizarre and beloved family of characters created by legendary cartoonist Charles Addams, will play the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center February 26 - March 3, 2013 as part of the Kimberly-Clark Broadway Across America - Fox Cities Series.

Signature Theatre has announced a one-week extension for the world premiere of OLD HATS, created and performed by Tony Award winners Bill Irwin and David Shiner, with music by and featuring Nellie McKay, and directed by Tina Landau. The production will now play through Sunday, April 7. The production will begin performances on February 12 and open on March 4 in The Irene Diamond Stage at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues). Tickets during the extension week are $75 each.

Bay City Players Youtheatre will hold registration for its 2013 Season on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. (doors open at 9:30 a.m.) at Bay City Players, 1214 Columbus Avenue in Bay City. Performances are June 13 - June 15, 2013. This program is open to those students in grades 3-9, and is limited to 160 participants. Registration is $35.00, and includes a t-shirt.

The GRAMMY Foundation - one of two affiliated charities of The Recording Academy - announced today that Ryan Seacrest has been appointed Honorary Chair of the GRAMMY Foundation Board. The GRAMMY Foundation offers year-round music education programs for high school students and schools; and advancement, archiving and preservation, and grant-making programs to safeguard important collections and fund research at the intersection of music and science. Seacrest joins current GRAMMY Foundation Board Chairman and new venture backer Rusty Rueff; Vice Chair Tim Bucher, founder and CEO of TastingRoom.com and Silicon Valley-based entrepreneur; Secretary/Treasurer Geoff Cottrill, chief marketing officer of Converse; and Chair Emeritus Beatriz R. The Irish Music Rights Organisation (IMRO) have recently announced the shortlist for this years Live Music Venue of the Year Awards with Roscommon Arts Centre securing a place on the shortlist for Connacht Live Venue of the Year. Six-time GRAMMY winner Justin Timberlake is set to perform on the 55th Annual GRAMMY Awards telecast. This marks the first time in four years that Timberlake will grace the GRAMMY stage, and will be his debut TV performance on the eve of his first studio album in seven years. The music industry's premier event will take place live on Sunday, Feb. 10, at STAPLES Center in Los Angeles and will be broadcast in high-definition TV and 5.1 surround sound on the CBS Television Network from 8 - 11:30 p.m. (ET/PT). The Bainbridge Symphony Orchestra has announced the 2013 winner of the BSO's 2013 Young Artist Competion - Marianne Martinoli, violin, age 15 from Monroe. Pianist Benjamin Salman of Seattle was awarded second place for his performance of the first movement of Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 5 in E-flat major, "Emperor." The judges also announced two Honorable Mentions given to pianists Mya King, from Silverdale, for her performance of Albeniz' Concierto Fantastico, mvt 3, Allegro, and to Michael Lee, from Issaquah, for his performance of Liszt's Totentanz.

The American Heart Association's Go Red For Women is asking America to go RED in celebration of the 10th National Wear Red Day on February 1, 2013. For 10 years, women have been fighting heart disease - the No. 1 killer of women - both individually and together as part of the Go Red For Women movement. To date, more than 627,000 women's lives have been saved, but the fight is far from over. Women need the right information, education and care, in order to treat, prevent, and even end heart disease.
