Interstate 73, Page 73 Productions' writers group supporting early-career playwrights, where selected playwrights meet biweekly to share new pages with their peers and Page 73's Executive and Associate Directors, will welcome Stephen Brown, Meghan Deans, Peter Gil-Sheridan, David Jenkins, Kait Kerrigan, EM Lewis and Caroline V. McGraw (who was also selected as the 2013 P73 Playwriting Fellow) into the group this year.

Quest Theatre Ensemble presents the world premiere musical, The People's Passion Play, which chronicles the creation of the universe and key Biblical events through the Passion and Resurrection. The musical is written by award-winning, Chicago-based Playwright/Director/Puppeteer Andrew Park with original music by Scott Lamps. Performances run Feb. 22 through March 31st at the Blue Theater located at 1609 West Gregory (one block south of Bryn Mawr and Ashland). The production is suitable for all audiences of all ages and is free to the public. Donations are encouraged. The LA Turkish Film Festival has announced that Yilmaz Erdogan's THE BUTTERFLY'S DREAM will be the festival's opening night film. The North American premiere will take place on February 28th at 7:00pm at Hollywood's Egyptian Theater, with a red carpet reception beginning at 5:30pm. The LA Turkish Film Festival will run through March 3rd, with additional titles to be announced shortly.

Held, who has served since 2010, will remain with the company on the Board of Directors. The AFT Board has named Jonathan (Jonny) Stacks Interim Executive Director as it launches a search for a new Executive Director.

This entertaining evening, part of The Wind Up, a series of after-hours events with art, music, performance, drinks, and socializing, features stand-up comics Eugene Mirman, Todd Barry and Wyatt Cenac; indie rock musician Eleanor Friedberger; and more. Attendees will also be able to take a special tongue-in-cheek guided tour of the Museum's permanent exhibition, Culture and Continuity: The Jewish Journey. Performances begin today for the MCC THEATER (Robert LuPone, Bernard Telsey, William Cantler, Artistic Directors; Blake West, Executive Director) New York premiere production of Paul Downs Colaizzo's Really Really, directed by David Cromer (the Obie Award and Lucille Lortel Award-winning director of hits Our Town, Adding Machine and Tribes). The production, which marks Colaizzo's New York playwriting debut, plays at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street, NYC) through March 10, 2013. An official opening is set for Tuesday, February 19th at 7:00 p.m. As announced on January 29th, the world premiere of Really Really, which opened in February 2012 at the Tony Award-winning Signature Theatre in D.C., has been nominated for 'The Charles MacArthur Award for Outstanding New Play or Musical' at this year's Helen Hayes Awards. As previously noted, MCC's New York premiere of Really Really marks a brand new production of the play directed by Cromer.
