The special event program will benefit youth programs at the Depot Theatre and is a delightful addition to the company's 33rd season.

The Bryn Mawr College Performing Arts Series presents the Philadelphia premiere of Behold Bold Sam Dog and the world premiere of 208 East Broadway Part 5, part of Susan Rethorst: Inquiring Mind/Choreographic Mind, an exploration into the artistic process of acclaimed New York choreographer and dancer Susan Rethorst, a recent Philadelphia transplant. Rethorst's work has been called "meticulously made, sensually satisfying and thrumming with possibilities" by The New York Times. Performances take place February 22-24, 2013.

The award-winning East Lynne Theater Company and The Henry Sawyer Inn still have a few openings left for their special 'Playwriting Get-Away' on March 1 and 2. The 2013 Texas Christian Film Festival will be honoring Houstonian Jeannette Clift George with their first Lifetime Achievement Award for her work in Christian Films including her Golden Globe nominated performance in "The Hiding Place." The presentation will be made during the screening of "The Hiding Place" on Saturday February 16, 2013.

The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts presents the U.S. premiere of Sirkku Peltola's The Warmblooded by Finland's Tampere Workers' Theatre. Written and directed by Sirkku Peltola, The Warmblooded runs March 2 at 7:30 p.m. and March 3 at 1:30 p.m. in the Kennedy Center Eisenhower Theater as part of Nordic Cool 2013. Press opening night is March 2 at 7:30 p.m. The production is performed in Finnish with English supertitles.

The Dramatists Guild of America has rescheduled their awards ceremony, postponed due to Hurricane Sandy, to Tuesday, February 26, 2013, at The Lambs Club in New York. The awards ceremony will be hosted by Lisa Kron and will feature a performance by Kenita Miller.

The Off Broadway Palm Theatre presents The Fox on the Fairway playing March 14 through May 4, 2013. Ken Ludwig's madcap golfing comedy is a tribute to the great English farces of the 30's and 40's and pulls the rug out from underneath the stuffy members of a private country club.

Patina Miller headlines Philadelphia Theatre Company's annual fundraiser on Friday, March 1 at the Loews Hotel in Center City. The event, which benefits PTC's education outreach program, will honor PNC Arts Alive and Julia and Gene Ericksen for their many years of supporting Philadelphia Theatre Company and the Philadelphia arts community.

Due to popular demand, Tennessee Repertory Theatre has extended its production of the multiple Tony Award-winning musical Cabaret with book and lyrics by Joe Masteroff and Fred Ebb and music by John Kander. Road Less Traveled Productions (RLTP) today publicly announced its 2013-2014 Season, which will mark the local theatre company's tenth anniversary of operations.
