The GRAMMY Emerging Artist Competition Winner Announced

HITLAB Inc. ('Hitlab'), in partnership with The Recording Academy, has announced Jade Novah of Cleveland, Ohio as the winner of its Emerging Artist Competition following the submission of original music to the contest's web page (www.hitlab.com). The competition launched Nov. 12, 2012, and was designed to provide up-and-coming artists and bands the chance to perform at an official GRAMMY Week event.

The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts presents Henrik Ibsen's Hedda Gabler by Norway's National Theatre. Directed by Peer Perez Øian and adapted by Ole Johan Skjelbred, Hedda Gabler runs February 26-27 in the Kennedy Center Eisenhower Theater as part of Nordic Cool 2013. Press opening night is February 26, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. The production is performed in Norwegian with English supertitles.

Christian Youth Theater - North Idaho (CYT-NI) says come tumble down the rabbit hole with Alice in their upcoming production, Alice the Musical. All of the familiar characters you know and love from the popular childhood story, Alice in Wonderland, will be there and many more in this cast of 76 local school children. The show opens February 22 at the Salvation Army Kroc Community Theater, 1765 W.Golf Course Rd., Coeur d'Alene, ID. All of the children are currently taking theater arts classes in CYT's winter session of their after-school theater arts education program.

MTV today announced that it will premiere a 30-minute special, "Bucking Unseen Moments," featuring never-before seen footage from the first season of "BUCKWILD," at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT on Thursday, February 7. The special will follow the season finale of two back-to-back new episodes beginning at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT. In addition to the finale and special, MTV will also air interstitial interviews with the "BUCKWILD" cast throughout the night beginning at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT, as they prepare to watch the final two episodes in West Virginia.
