HITLAB Inc. ('Hitlab'), in partnership with The Recording Academy, has announced Jade Novah of Cleveland, Ohio as the winner of its Emerging Artist Competition following the submission of original music to the contest's web page (www.hitlab.com). The competition launched Nov. 12, 2012, and was designed to provide up-and-coming artists and bands the chance to perform at an official GRAMMY Week event.

Back from a successful run in Boston, Eileen (Anjelica Huston), Julia (Debra Messing) and Tom (Christian Borle) are blindsided by both personal and professional obstacles as they seek to take 'Bombshell' to Broadway. Karen (Katharine McPhee) consults her new mentor, Broadway star Veronica 'Ronnie' Moore (guest star Jennifer Hudson), as she finds herself on the brink of fame, but her success may come at cost to Ivy (Megan Hilty). A new talent (Jeremy Jordan) is discovered in an unexpected place. Jack Davenport, Leslie Odom, Jr., Andy Mientus and Krysta Rodriguez also star. Jennifer Hudson, Thorsten Kaye, and Brian d'Arcy James guest star.

The Country Playhouse, together with the Houston Masonic Library and Museum Foundation, will present the new play Leaving San Jacinto by Diana Howie, on its Cerwinske main stage for four performances only, February 28 - March 3. Show times are Thursday, February 28, at 7:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday at 8:00 p.m., plus a matinee on Sunday, March 3, at 2:00 p.m.

The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts presents Henrik Ibsen's Hedda Gabler by Norway's National Theatre. Directed by Peer Perez Øian and adapted by Ole Johan Skjelbred, Hedda Gabler runs February 26-27 in the Kennedy Center Eisenhower Theater as part of Nordic Cool 2013. Press opening night is February 26, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. The production is performed in Norwegian with English supertitles.

The Vineyard Theatre has announced its annual Gala, this year celebrating the institution's 30th Anniversary. This milestone event will take place at The Edison Ballroom (240 West 47th Street) on Monday, March 18, 2013 beginning at 6:00 p.m. (cocktail reception at 6:00 pm, dinner @ 7:30 pm., and performances beginning at 8:30 pm). Christian Youth Theater - North Idaho (CYT-NI) says come tumble down the rabbit hole with Alice in their upcoming production, Alice the Musical. All of the familiar characters you know and love from the popular childhood story, Alice in Wonderland, will be there and many more in this cast of 76 local school children. The show opens February 22 at the Salvation Army Kroc Community Theater, 1765 W.Golf Course Rd., Coeur d'Alene, ID. All of the children are currently taking theater arts classes in CYT's winter session of their after-school theater arts education program.

Drury Lane Theatre, 100 Drury Lane, presents Andrew Lloyd Webber's triumphant Broadway musical SUNSET BOULEVARD, opening Friday, February 1 at 8:30 p.m., and running through March 24. The all-star cast is led by Christine Sherrill as "Norma Desmond" (National Tour of Mamma Mia!, Legally Blonde at Marriott Theatre and Xanadu and Curtains at Drury Lane Theatre) and Will Ray as "Joe Gillis" (National Tour of Little House on the Prairie, the new musical Allegiance at the Old Globe Theater, and Irish Repertory's Meet Me In St. Louis). The Utah Symphony and Music Director Thierry Fischer will present symphonic musical retellings of the tragic tale of Romeo and Juliet this Valentine's Day weekend with a special, additional performance night on Thursday, February 14.

In the spring of 1993 Jason Nodler, Tamarie Cooper, and a group of friends got together to put on Nodler's musical play In the Under Thunderloo in a punk rock club--and they have been freaking out Houston audiences ever since.

MTV today announced that it will premiere a 30-minute special, "Bucking Unseen Moments," featuring never-before seen footage from the first season of "BUCKWILD," at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT on Thursday, February 7. The special will follow the season finale of two back-to-back new episodes beginning at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT. In addition to the finale and special, MTV will also air interstitial interviews with the "BUCKWILD" cast throughout the night beginning at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT, as they prepare to watch the final two episodes in West Virginia. Since the premiere episode, "BUCKWILD" ranks as #1 rated original cable series of Thursday nights among P12-34, while pulling in an average of 3 million total viewers per episode (Live +3)*.

The Eagle Theatre, located at 208 Vine Street in Hammonton, NJ will close its critically acclaimed run of A Chorus Line with three performances on February 7, 8, and 9 at 8:00PM..

Ted Neeley, star of both the 1973 classic film and various Broadway touring versions of Jesus Christ Superstar returns to the road, this time without the robe. Fronting his five piece Little Big Band, Ted returns to his Texas roots and his first love as a 'singer in a rock and roll band'. Ted will debut new music with the group, which includes Kim Norton, a stellar guitarist who has provided Ted with an underscore of searing riffs on more than 1000 performances of Superstar, and bassist James Webb, son of famed songwriter Jimmy Webb, and co-founder of the popular Webb Brothers Band.

Gulfshore Playhouse continues their spectacular seventh season with the hilarious, classic comedy The Importance of Being Earnest, playing February 15 through March 3, with a preview performance February 14.

Nashville-based alternative buzz band Darling Parade has released “Ghost,” the first single from their upcoming full-length album Battle Scars & Broken Hearts. Darling Parade was featured on Billboard's Next Big Sound chart, MTVu, VH1 and their music has been showcased on ABC Family's “The Lying Game,” the CW's “Flygirls,” Syfy's “Stargate Universe” and Showtime's “Shameless,” just to name a few.
