Broadway By The Bay, the Peninsula's premier musical theatre company, has finalized its casting for Hairspray, the first show of its 2012 season. This will be the second year of performances at the company's new home, the historic Fox Theatre in Redwood City and the 47th season in their history. The season will feature three full-scale productions and the return of the hit Broadway By The Year® series. "Say You'll Be Mine," the debut album from New York teenage singer/songwriter Ali Isabella is available worldwide today (Tuesday, February 21, 2012) on iTunes and Amazon.com, it was announced by Marc Jacobson and John Velasco, principals of Ali's US management company, Direction By Appointment, Inc. A limited edition of the physical CD will be available only at Wembley on February 26 and will be given wider distribution at a future date

Quick Changes Productions presents the world premiere of IMPROVed, a new comedy by Genevieve Adams in which the rules of improvisation are challenged and exploited, with performances set for February 23-26 at Gene Frankel Theatre (24 Bond Street) in Manhattan. Jon Goracy directs.

The Queensland Performing Arts Centre has announced a new QPAC International Series.
