The Building Stage, now in its 7th year creating original works of theater, continues its first ever four-show season with an original adaptation of the classic fairy tale HÄNSEL UND GRETEL. Brooklyn Center for the Performing Arts at Brooklyn College continues its 2011-2012 World Stages series with the much-anticipated return of the National Dance Theatre Company of Jamaica (NDTC). The company will perform two programs of dance and music celebrating West Indian culture and the 50th Anniversary of the company on Saturday, March 24 at 8pm and Sunday, March 25 at 3pm.

Producers Victor Syrmis, Carl Rumbaugh and Susan Batson, along with Culture Project (Allan Buchman, Artistic Director) have announced the World Premiere of In Masks Outrageous and Austere, the final full length play from Tennessee Williams (1911-1983). Directed by David Schweizer, it will begin performances on Thursday, April 5, 2012 with an Opening Night set for Monday, April 16, 2012 at Culture Project. The production is scheduled to play through May 26, 2012.

When Performance Network Theatre decided to engage in two co-productions for their 30th Anniversary season, an opportunity arose to revive their second stage offerings. With both "God of Carnage" and the upcoming "Dead Man's Shoes" being rehearsed off-site, Performance Network's black box rehearsal hall was wide open for use by a neighboring company, The Penny Seats, and the first show of their second season, Jeffrey Hatcher's "What Corbin Knew." Performances will begin Feb 28 and run through March 14, 2012 at Performance Network.

Rattlestick Playwrights Theater announced today that its production of Yosemite, a new play written by Daniel Talbott will play four (4) additional performances (through March 3rd). Performances began on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 and the show enjoyed an official opening night on Thursday, January 26th. Originally scheduled to run through Sunday, February 26th, Yosemite will now play through Saturday, March 3rd at Rattlestick Theater.
