Earlier today, Megan Hilty, Justin Long and Raven-Symone announced the 78th Drama League Award Nominees for Distinguished Play, Distinguished Revival of a Play, Distinguished Best Musical, Distinguished Revival of a Musical, and the much coveted Distinguished Performance Award. The Drama League has announced that Tony Award Winners Cherry Jones and Denis O'Hare will announce the 2015 Drama League Awards Nominees for Outstanding Production of a Play, Outstanding Production of a Musical, Outstanding Revival of a Play, Outstanding Revival of a Musical, and the much-coveted Distinguished Performance Award this morning, April 21, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Sardi's (234 West 44th Street, 2nd Floor).

Theatre Under The Stars (TUTS) presents the 13th annual Tommy Tune Awards, held tonight, April 21 at 7:30 p.m. at The Hobby Center for the Performing Arts.

It was just announced that Stephen Adly Guirgis' Between Riverside and Crazy has earned the 2015 Pulitzer Prize for Drama. The play ran at the Atlantic THeatre Company last summer and again at Second Stage Theatre in February.

On Thursday, April 23 (2:00pm), Judith Light (Two-time Drama Desk and Tony Award winner, Other Desert Cities, The Assembled Parties) and Jessie Mueller (Drama Desk, Tony, and Grammy Award winner, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical) will announce the nominations for the 60th Annual Drama Desk Awards at 54 Below (254 W. 54th Street).

The Tony Awards® announced today that highlights of this year's 69th annual Awards will be broadcast on BBC Radio 2 as part of a new partnership for 2015. Elaine Paige will host coverage of the Tony Awards on June 7, 2015, for a special program to be broadcast from 8-10pm on June 12, 2015, which will also include performances from the ceremony itself.

Dixon Place announces the recipient of the 3rd Annual 2015 Tom Murrin Performance Award, also known as The Tommy. As a transformative career opportunity for an emerging NYC-based artist or company, this year's award is being presented to Monstah Black.

Today, the International Centre for Women Playwrights (ICWP) announces the nomination window for its prestigious annual award: The ICWP 50/50 Applause Award. The award, now in its fourth year, honors theatres and artistic directors whose 2014/15 season included an equal or greater number of female playwrights in ratio to male playwrights produced.
