Poster House, the first museum in the United States dedicated to the global history of posters, will host a “Poster Kids” event on November 19, 2023 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Poster House, 119 West 23rd Street in Manhattan. Poster House will be offering free admission for guests to attend this family-friendly programming and explore the museum’s latest exhibitions.
Poster Kids will explore environmental issues and the posters that have attempted to encourage people to save our planet by walking through the current exhibition We Tried to Warn You! Environmental Crisis Posters, 1970–2020. After an interactive, walk-through exhibit tour, participants will create artwork from recycled materials in the spirit of environmental consciousness. This program invites children 5–11 years old and their adults to collaborate (siblings are welcome). This is not a drop-off program.
Poster House is at 119 West 23rd Street, New York, NY.
