A new play about one of the first and most notorious cases of invasion of privacy on the Internet - 'IF YOU CAN GET TO BUFFALO: An Exploration of 'A Rape in Cyberspace' by Julian Dibbell,' written by Trish Harnetiaux and directed by Eric Nightengale - will be given its world premiere this winter by Incubator Arts Project (inside St. Mark's Church, 131 E. 10 St. in Manhattan), with preview performances Thursday, February 13th prior to an official opening on Sunday, February 16th, 2014. Bob Katz, "The Folk Punk Woody Allen", and his rascally mangos present "Quasimango, the Lunchbox of Notre Dame", a one-man, ten-mango musical, in which our hero, a deformed mango, strives to win the affection of Notre Dame Fighting Irish cheerleader Esmeralda Kelly. As Esmeralda is traded to the never-winning Columbia University Lions, Quasi follows her from South Bend, Indiana to the North Pole to a cataclysmic climax at Columbia's football stadium. Sung and narrated by a single performer who assumes more than ten roles - nine of them mangos - this combination of folk, blues, rock, and rap tells a story like no other.

They will be joined by rising cabaret star Jennifer Sheehan, and Broadway's Brian Charles Rooney today, February 12th. The evening is produced by Razors Edge Productions.

Using nearly seven weeks of residency time at the Bushwick Starr, and in collaboration with actor T. Ryder Smith (War Horse, Passion Play) and designers Blanca Añon (ETERNAL, Owned) and Daniel Kluger (Nikolai and the Others, A Map of Virtue), they will create PHIL. 176 / OBIT, an episodic performance installation that draws simultaneously on the text of Shelly Kagan's renowned Yale College philosophy course, 'PHIL 176: Death,'* and on current American obituaries and death notices.
