Queens Theatre (QT) and Managing Director Taryn Sacramone are "proudly looking forward to the many family-friendly offerings of the spring season", including electroluminescent puppets of LIGHTWIRE'S DINO and three exciting shows based on best-selling books, such as THE MONSTER WHO ATE MY PEAS, JUNIE B. JONES, and PETER PAN.

Queens Theatre is located at 14 United Nations Avenue South, in Flushing Meadows Corona Park. Single tickets are $14 or purchase a Family Series Flex Pass for $100 (10 tickets to use however you want.) Tickets are available online at www.queenstheatre.org or by calling the Box Office at 718-760-0064. Tickets may also be purchased in-person at the Queens Theatre Box Office, Mondays from 10am to 2pm, Wednesdays through Sundays from 10am to 6pm.

Sacramone, a mother herself, is eagerly looking forward to the Family Series shows planned for the spring. "I love seeing families at the theatre. When I see children filing out, after a show, and talking to their parents about their favorite parts of what they just watched, I know that Queens Theatre has succeeded in creating great memories for them. Children are naturally imaginative and creative, and when they are exposed to cultural events at a young age, I know that their interest in the arts will continue."

The schedule for the upcoming family series is as follows:

Dino (Sunday March 2, 2014 at 1:00pm and 3:00pm): From the creators of Ugly Duckling comes another show glowing with electroluminescent puppets!

Toying With Science (Sunday March 23, 2014 at 1:00pm and 3:00pm): Combining circus skills, mime, original music, and audience involvement, Garry and his audience investigate and delve into the imaginations of scientists who explore our world.

The Monster Who Ate My Peas (Sunday April 13, 2014 at 1:00pm and 3:00pm): Based on the multi-award winning book written by Danny Schnitzlein, this musical tells the funny and poignant story of a young boy who doesn't want to eat his peas.

Doktor Kaboom (Saturday April 19, 2014 at 1:00pm and 3:00pm): This fun & interactive science show returns by popular demand! Join Doktor Kaboom as he attempts science experiments with the audience's help.

Junie B. Jones (sunday May 18, 2014 at 1:00pm and 3:00pm): This musical, based on the beloved books by Barbara Parks, tells the story of a first grader and her experiences.

Peter Pan (Sunday Jun 1, 2014 at 1:00pm and 3:00pm): This touring production explores the journey of a group of children in turn-of-the-century London who use their imaginations to reenact the story of Peter Pan.
