NYC playwright and director Charles Curtis is now casting for the NYC premiere of his work, LIKE PEELING AN ONION, being performed on World AIDS Day 2015, and possibly extending to additional 2015 performances.
Like Peeling an Onion is the tale of David Greene, a recently deceased high school assistant principal. As his family and friends come to box up things of his life, they each deal with their grief in their own way. In the end, they realize they have more questions about his life than his death. This show speaks of the secrets we try to hide, and how in death, we have no more room for the secrets.
Rehearsals will be held two/three days a week, for approximately two hours in NYC. Auditions are by INVITATION ONLY. All interested actors should submit a hs/r to charlescurtis@live.com. Once materials are received, actors will be given a link to sign up for an audition time. Actors will be expected to showcase a dramatic monologue, and read sides from the script.
