Male, early 20’s. Any ethnicity. Optimistic, energetic, innocent, loyal, sometimes hyper-active. Boyish and ideally blonde. Performer must have a pliable body and be an extremely physical actor with excellent comedic timing. Strong pop tenor. PRINCIPAL. [ROLE HAS BEEN OFFERED AND ACCEPTED]

Male, early 20’s- early 30’s. Any ethnicity. Well-intentioned but lacking common sense or skills. Kind and somewhat clueless. A big softie. Physically needs to be tall, round shaped, hefty, and possibly bald or willing to shave head if desired. Male 40’s – early 50’s. Any ethnicity. Grumpy, short-tempered, generally negative but loveable nonetheless. Must be tall and thin. Must move well and be a very strong tap dancer. Any actors auditioning for this role should sing a big, showbizzy show tune, ideally something about determination or wanting to be a star, a la Give my Regards to Broadway, I Am What I Am, All I Care About is Love, Don’t Rain on My Parade, etc. Must have a strong Baritone/Baritenor with comfortable sustained G# belt. Female 20’s. African-American or Latina. A native Texan, speaks with an accent. Intelligent, buoyant, very athletic and physically nimble. Any actresses auditioning for this role should sing a pop country song in the style of such artists as Carrie Underwood, Lady Antebellum, or a pop rock song in the style of Cyndi Lauper or Pink. Male late 20’s – early 40’s. Any ethnicity. His personality outweighs his small size – a diminutive recracker. Slick, scheming, nefarious. Determined, he will do anything to get ahead in life. Very greedy, but his heart is still open enough to learn life lessons along the road. Must be able to dance very well and have a solid Tenor pop/rock sound. The ability to rap is a big plus. Male 30’s – 50’s. Any ethnicity. Lives his life as a penny-saving, money-grabbing restaurateur. Obsessed and volatile in relationship to his money; tender but misguided in relationship with his daughter. Seeking short performers more physically round and stocky- A short and stout frame. Any actors auditioning for this role should sing an up-tempo contemporary song that shows off your vocal range but also has a gruffness ala Tom Waits, Captain Beefheart, or Gogol Bordello; the songs should be jangly and jaunty, something fun to wail on. Must be a strong Baritenor. PRINCIPAL.
