Seeking
Equity Young Male Actor/Singer who can play piano. Character is a Black South African male.

**If cast, actors must join Canadian Equity. Producer will pay the fee to join. Actors auditioning/cast must be members in good standing with U.S. AEA.

Preparation
Prepare 16 bars of a legit musical theater ballad (have 2nd alternative choice), that shows off voice and range. Bring sheet music in correct key; accompanist provided. Also be prepared to play Piano if asked -- your own piece, preferably Classical.

Bring a picture & resume, stapled back-to-back.

SEEKING:

THEMBA KHENKETHA:
Black African Male. Age Legally 18+ To Play Age 16. South-African, piano prodigy, fierce; intelligent, with a strong point of view; he has chosen exile to become a concert classical pianist- coming of age as an artist and as a young man. Actor must a have a strong singing voice, and acting ability to carry a leading role in a musical. Some familiarity with Classical Piano playing a plus. A knowledge of the language of the tribes in the South African region is very beneficial. Must be an Excellent Singer, Bari/Tenor with an easy G4.

Compensation will include Salary plus per diem plus R/T Transportation, plus Accommodation for the entire period
