SEEKING

All ethnicities, ages, and gender identities. We are an outdoor repertory company. All actors will be cast in 2 of our 3 summer productions. Please see breakdown for further information.

PREPARATION

2 Contrasting Monologues, no longer than 2 mins each. At least one by Shakespeare. A few bars of a capella song for those who wish to demonstrate singing skill

Navarre: The King of Navarre, Male, any age

Berowne: A lord attending on the King, Male, any age

Costard: A clown, excellent comic skills, Male, 20s - 30s

Nathaniel: A curate, Male, 30+

Princess of France: Female, any age

Rosaline: Lady attending on the Princess, Female, any age

Holofernes: A schoolmistress, Female, 30+

Boyet: A lord or lady attending the Princess. Any age.

ROMEO AND JULIET

Romeo: Romantic lead, excellent combat skills, Male, 20s or younger

Capulet: Juliet's father, authoritative, Male, 40+

Mercutio: Kinsman to the Prince, excellent combat skills, Male, 20 - 40

Juliet: Romantic lead, Female, 20s or younger

Nurse/Prince: Actor will cover both roles, excellent comic skills, Female, 40+

Lady Capulet: Juliet's mother, Female, 30s

Tybalt: Juliet's Cousin, excellent combat skills, Female, 20 - 40
