Breakdown

SYNOPSIS: Red Eye of Love is a rollicking musical comedy about
a love triangle between a young idealist, Wilmer Flange, a materialistic butcher, O.O. Martinas, and the girl they both love,
Selma Chargesse. Their hilarious misadventures are set against
a background of Boom Time, War and Depression in America, so that the play becomes a panorama of the United States in the
Twentieth Century.


Seeking:

Note: We are actively seeking an ethnically diverse cast

Ensemble: mid 20’s-late 30’s. An eclectic mix of character types. Strong singing and dancing required
from everyone. Dance style is musical theatre . Tap skills are a plus.

Man 1: plays Bez, the grown up child of Wilmer and Selma, but
who takes after Martinas. Bari-tenor.
Man 2: plays a Doll salesman, tenor.
Man 3: Plays a Japanese/German soldier, a dialect role. Baritone

Woman 1: nightclub singer, belter
Woman 2: older waitress, soprano
Woman 3: specialty dancer, mezzo
