Robert O'Hara, who directed the landmark box office hit Slave Play, returns to CTG with a dynamic new version of Hamlet set in Los Angeles in the style of Film Noir and inspired by the work of David Lynch, Alfred Hitchcock, Stanley Kubrick, and Salvador Dali. Half made up of the original (pared down) Shakespearean text and half an all-new Knives Out-like interrogation of the story of Prince of Denmark, we are seeking actors who can move easily between Shakespearean verse and contemporary suspense.
