Equity actors for Second City - New York - 2025 General auditions. The Second City, Brooklyn is seeking understudies for our Resident Stage and Second City Presents ensembles, as well as talent for upcoming theatrical projects. Auditions will be held at our Second City, Brooklyn Theater on November 11, 2024, with callbacks on November 12, 2024. Graduates of an improv and sketch comedy institution (i.e. The Second City Conservatory, iO, UCB, The Pit, The Magnet, The Annoyance Theater, etc.) are encouraged to submit. Improv and sketch comedy experience is a plus.

Auditions will be held at our Second City, Brooklyn Theater on November 11, 2024, with callbacks on November 12, 2024.
Auditions will be held in thirty-minute blocks. Performers will audition in groups of six, and will improvise based on prompts and suggestions provided in the room. There will be eleven thirty-minute slots during the course of the day.
These are improvised auditions, and we are not seeing actors for traditional scripted plays or roles. Equity’s contracts prohibit discrimination.
