A wildly comedic, fast-paced original musical set at Coney Island in the Guilded Age. This full ensemble of performers all needs to have great comedic chops, excelling at playing multiple exaggerated characters. The music of the show is almost entirely close-chord four-part harmony, so the ideal performer has some barbershop quartet or choir experience.
Everybody plays multiple characters. There is a “primary role” listed for each track, so you can understand where the bulk of the time/energy will be spent. The other roles are equally important, but will have less stage time. Any gender information listed is about each character (not a requirement for the actor playing the roles). The vocal ranges listed are important to consider, as there will need to be a full spectrum of voices for the barbershop harmony aspect of the piece.
