Preparation
Dancers
Men have jazz shoes or sneakers. Women have character heels and jazz shoes.

Singers
Prepare a song in the style of the show. We are also happy to hear music the show. If you play an instrument and able to bring it with you to accompany yourself, it is encouraged. Accompanist provided.

Seeking Men and Women who play instruments and will play featured Ensemble roles such as:

Ritchie Valens
20s. Hispanic-American. Handsome boy with serious charisma, a dedicated eye for the ladies, and the ability to hold the stage in his own right. Musical instruments a plus.

Norman Petty
40s. A record producer from Clovis, New Mexico, with a business like manner and a love of making records. Musical instruments a plus.

Vi Petty
40s. The wife of Norman Petty with a heart of gold. Vi must be able to play some piano/keyboards and have a great sense of humor.

Maria Elena Holly
20s. Hispanic-American. Attractive. Classy and well educated. Musical instruments a plus.

Apollo Performer
Any age. African American. Plays the trombone.
