Seeking:
Ginnie: A struggling writer, single, without family, unpublished. Ginnie has been living anywhere she can find work as a caretaker in exchange for rent. She is practical, down to earth — a woman on her own for a long time. When the play begins she has just returned from Wales and is seeking a remote sanctuary (an island off the coast of Maine) where she can write about what happened on a farm in Wales. Ginnie is open-minded, smart, impulsive, and compassionate. Ginnie is not always by choice a bird of passage.
