News' in the past, joins the permanent E! staff following her role as host of '1st Look,' the Emmy-award winning lifestyle show produced by the NBC Owned Television Stations' LX.TV. Giddings comes to E! from Canada's MuchMusic, where he served as host of the popular flagship show 'New.Music.Live.' The two new full-time correspondents will cover a wide variety of pop culture stories for 'E! News.'
RealD & Cinemex Sign Exclusive 10-Year 3D DealAugust 7, 2013Global 3D and visual technology licensor RealD Inc. (NYSE: RLD) and Cinemex, Mexico's second largest cinema exhibitor and the sixth largest cinema exhibitor in the world, today announced a 10-year agreement that will make RealD the exclusive circuit-wide 3D technology provider for Cinemex. The agreement calls for approximately 700 auditoriums across the Cinemex circuit in Mexico to be equipped with RealD 3D technology, including the removal of approximately 540 alternative 3D systems that will be replaced with RealD 3D within the next two years.
Telemundo's EL SENOR DE LOS CIELOS Finale Draws Over 3.6 Million Total ViewersAugust 6, 2013On the heels of delivering its best weekly performance to date, Telemundo Media's original production “El Señor de los Cielos” (The Lord of the Skies, M-F 10pm ET) came to an end delivering its highest-rated telecast and the second highest-rated finale in the network's history, regardless of time period, averaging 3,627,000 total viewers and 2,324,000 adults 18-49, according to Nielsen. ET/PT scored a season high among all key demos delivering 2.4 million total viewers and 1.5 million A18-49, according to Nielsen. Anchoring the night at 10 P.M. ET/PT, "Below Deck" delivered 1.4 million total viewers and was up 15 percent from the prior week's episode (7/29/13) in A18-49 with 937,000 marking the third consecutive season to-date high among all key demos. Additionally, last night's "Watch What Happens Live," hosted by Andy Cohen and with guests Alexis Bellino and Jenni Pulos delivered 1.2 million total viewers.
