Jamie deRoy was the Master of Ceremonies and introduced Ambassador Ido Aharoni,Consul General of Israel who spoke, as well as other dignitaries from the University. At the podium were Yariv Sultan VP, Professor Alfred I. Tauber, Chairman Board of Governors, and Yefet Ozery National Executive Director of ASUH. Sandra Frankel represented the Leona M. and Harry B Helmsley Charitable Trust was presented a Carmel Award of Merit by Leon H. Charney. Audrey Gruss was also presented a Carmel Award which was presented by Professor Alfred I. Tauber. There was a musical performance by Israeli artists Guy Mintus, pianist/compser and opera singer Maya Yahav Gour.

She adds her sophisticated European jazz vocals to the line up of performers who appear on Musical Mondays. Egidiana, who happens to be married to Sirio was coaxed to sing and that made the evening an extra special Le Cirque Musical Monday.
