Cheyenne Jackson, with stage credits including The Performers, 8, Finian's Rainbow, Damn Yankees and Xanadu; television appearances on 30 Rock, Glee, Curb Your Enthusiasm and Ugly Betty; and film work including Love is Strange, United 93, Price Check and Lola Versus, just made his debut at Cafe Carlyle, continuing through January 24. The two-week engagement, entitled Eyes Wide Open, takes a personal and humorous look at loss, love, revelation and recovery with music ranging from Louis Armstrong to Lady Gaga. Lyrics & Lyricists gets going on the opening show of its 45th season with 'A Good Thing Going: The Stephen Sondheimand Harold Prince Collaboration' continuing tonight, January 12. Marilyn doesn't have to sing "I Love Being Here With You" in New York City anymore. She always would motion for a response after the lyric "I wanna hear you call my name" and the audience would always shout out MARILYN. That song was not in her show. There's no need for MM to ask for recognition in this town. If you don't know that MARILYN means Marilyn Maye you are not a New Yorker. Personally, if I ask someone "when are you seeing Marilyn" and then get a confused look, I immediately know I'm talking to someone who doesn't get it.

Bill Boggs, who has interviewed many of the most notable personalities of our time, had to sit at the other end of the table and be interviewed by Peter LeDonne, whose 970 AM radio program is recorded at Patsy's Italian Restaurant. Boggs, a four time Emmy Award winning TV Host has interviewed cultural icons, presidents, international leaders, business tycoons, writers, athletes,movie stars and celebrity chefs. However, out of those thousands of interviews the interviewee Boggs would probably rate as one of the most interesting. Bill who is also an author an a much in demand speaker, had many tales to share with the radio audience during this lunch time interview, which could well have lasted until dinner time at Patsy's.

Following her critically acclaimed show Hard Rain at 59E59 Theaters, Britain's top song stylist and international cabaret singer Barb Jungr just presented the American premiere of a special concert, originally created for London Festival of Cabaret 2013, at 54 Below.

New York's Metropolitan Room is in the midst of shocking the entertainment world with an unprecedented, pull-out-the-stops programming initiative to kick off 2015. For three days -- Thursday January 1 at 7pm to Sunday January 4 at 7am -- the intimate concert venue will stage its first 'Marathon Variety Show,' with continuous entertainment for 60 hours straight. There is a movie titled "A Table at Le Cirque" but for the New Years Party at Le Cirque last night one of the most gifted and celebrated composer, pianist, and singers left his table and sat down at a newly delivered grand piano in the legendary dining room. Neil Sedaka then proceeded to thrill the blue ribbon crowd with a bunch of his hit songs.

'The Story Goes On', and Richard Maltby, Jr. and David Shire were in the audience as Liz Callaway ended her Christmas show with one of their songwriting masterpieces.

The New York Pops brought the beloved Rudolph Characters to life in a Family Concert and broadwayworld was there for the rehearsal. Steven Reineke conducted and John Bolton narrated. The concert featured original choreography by director Liza Gennaro performed by dancers from New York Theatre Ballet.

Joe Iconis and his merry band of musical theater punks were back by popular demand in this seventh annual insane celebration of all things red and green. Featuring brand new holiday songs, old favorites, tiny elves, enormous reindeer, an inebriated Mr. and Mrs. Claus, and an ungodly number of candy canes, it was the happiest holiday hoedown you've ever seen.

Music Director Steven Reineke had another gig right after the Pops Holiday Concert which featured Matthew Morrison and Kelli O'Hara. Steven was the pianist and conducted the sing along for the lucky concert goers that signed up for the after-party at Trattoria Dell'Arte which is across the street from Carnegie Hall.

It probably will go down as one of Cafe Carlyle's most memorable 15 minutes. In this, his 10th year of sold out shows at The Carlyle, Steve gave his audience a spectacular musical surprise. It happened midway through his Brill Building songwriters tribute show titled 'That Lovin Feelin' as he announced that Neil Sedaka was in the house.

It certainly will not be "The Hungry Years" at Le Cirque this New Years as Neil Sedaka, one of the music worlds most gifted and successful Singer, Songwriter, Composer, Pianist, and Authors joins the Maccioni family and their guests for what promises to be one of the most exciting events in the New York City.
