Railroad Earth's Hangtown Halloween Ball has announced its Late Night line-up for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The line-up includes a special set with Karl Denson and Friends, Emmitt-Nershi Band, The Infamous Stringdusters, Orgone and NVO. The festival will be held at the gateway of the High Sierra Mountains in Placerville, Calif., from October 26-28.

Ovation continues its critically acclaimed programming block "The Best You've Never Seen" with the U.S. premiere of BLACKOUT. The three-part mini-series premieres Monday, October 22 at 8:00 p.m. ET/5:00 p.m. PT and consecutive episodes air October 29 and November 5 at 8:00 p.m.ET/5:00 p.m. PT.

Companions for Living, a West-Hartford based agency that provides home care services for seniors and people with disabilities, will present award winning Sea Tea Improv at West Hartford's Playhouse on Park on Thursday, September 27 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Proceeds will benefit the Alzheimer's Association's Connecticut Chapter.

The Franklin School for the Performing Arts (FSPA) introduces new dance classes for the 2012-2013 school year. Instruction will be offered in Franklin and at the school's new satellite facility in downtown Hudson. Rene Pape will travel to Germany to reprise his acclaimed Wotan at the Berlin State Opera, in a production of Wagner's Die Walkure conducted by Daniel Barenboim (Oct 4-14). For concerts celebrating the centennial of Sir Georg Solti's birth, the singer joins conductor Valery Gergiev and the World Orchestra for Peace at Carnegie Hall (Oct 19) and in Chicago (Oct 21). Pape returns to La Scala--where he just made his recital debut on Sunday, September 16--in December to open its opera season, portraying King Heinrich in Wagner's Lohengrin, together with his friend Jonas Kaufmann and frequent musical partner Daniel Barenboim (Dec 7-17). On New Year's Eve and New Year's Day, Pape re-joins Barenboim for performances of Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 at the Staatskapelle Berlin. And in 2013, to help mark the bicentennial of Wagner's birth, Pape sings his signature Gurnemanz in the new Francois Girard production of Parsifal at the Metropolitan Opera, conducted by Daniele Gatti (Feb 15-March 8).

After a successful one year anniversary in Los Angeles and a sold-out charity benefit in New York City, Worst Ever Productions will present the first monthly run of WORST AUDITION EVER this fall at the Cavern Club in Silverlake.
