Diablo Ballet of California has become the first professional dance company to open all of its Pinterest photo boards to dance fans around the nation and the world. On Wednesday, September 26, the Company began offering individuals the opportunity to add their own dance related photos to any of Diablo Ballet's 25 Pinterest boards.

The National Theatre's epic War Horse, winner of five 2011 Tony Awards, including Best Play, will make its Philadelphia premiere for a two-week limited engagement from November 20 through December 2 at the Academy of Music, kicking off the 2012-13 Broadway Season presented by The Kimmel Center and The Shubert Organization.

CADENZA and Cid Pearlman/Performance Projects are proud to announce the world premiere of 'Your Body Is Not a Shark,' a performance piece encompassing dance, live music, and sound collage. Choreographed by Cid Pearlman with an original score composed and performed by Joan Jeanrenaud, text by poet Denise Leto, and musical direction by Maya Barsacq, 'Your Body Is Not a Shark' uses physical limitation and difference as a point of departure for examining the creative process. It is an inquiry into the subtlety of form - poetic, choreographic, musical - and into the ways in which form's constraints inspire. In the end 'Shark' is a paean to the power of art and to the artist within each of us.

Versatile raconteur Garrison Keillor will return to the New York Philharmonic as narrator and vocalist for Mr. Keillor at 70 with pianist Richard Dworsky and vocalist Christine DiGiallonardo on October 16, 2012, at 7:30 p.m. in an evening conducted by conductor and pianist Rob Fisher.

The Greenville Little Theatre is delighted to present Dracula Bites, written by North Carolina playwright Duke Ernsberger in collaboration with his writing partner and mother, Virginia Cate. Created and produced by MAC Award Winner Joseph Macchia, Cabaret Cares raises money for the non-profit Help Is On The Way Today, which helps and assists children living with HIV and AIDS in New York City. The series has raised over $74,000 since it started 7 years ago.

Bill Cain's 'How to Write a New Book for the Bible,' an autobiographical tale about family, a son's devotion, and a mother's love comes to South Coast Repertory from October 19 through November 18. It is directed by Kent Nicholson. 'How to Write a New Book for the Bible' follows the story of Bill, who comes home to take care of his octogenarian mother, Mary. Many times she's maddening, but she's always funny as the family's story unfolds through flashbacks.

Dawn Ward Lau returns to the cabaret stage as Debbie Goldberg in the one-night-only encore performance of "The Hole in my Bucket List", at Don't Tell Mama on Saturday October 20th at 6pm. Sharing the stage will be multiple-time MAC Award-winning musical director Ricky Ritzel.

Native Voices at the Autry will present a free staged reading of Emergency Management, a new play by Jason Grasl (Blackfeet*) on Thursday, October 25, 2012, 7:30 pm, at the Wells Fargo Theater at the Autry National Center in Griffith Park.
