After a successful first series earlier this year, The Curtain Up Show returns to London's arts radio station, Resonance 104.4FM, for a new 11 week run. Tim McArthur will be joined live in the studio at 12pm on Friday 5 October by Sam Buttery and Katie Kerr who are currently starring in Taboo at the Brixton Clubhouse, and by Joshua Miles who is currently starring in Bully Boy by Sandi Toksvig at the newly opened St. James Theatre.

Montreal's Talisman Theatre will present the Canadian English-language premiere of The Medea Effect at Theatre La Chapelle from October 11-20. The show was written by Quebecoise playwright Suzie Bastien and translated for Talisman Theatre by Nadine Desrochers. Emma Tibaldo directs the cast, which stars Eloi ArchamBaudoin as Ugo and Jennifer Morehouse as Ada.

Internationally acclaimed bestselling author and songwriter Jeffery Deaver and writing partners Clay Stafford and Ken Landers have been nominated for a 2012 Hollywood Music in Media Award (HMMA) in the Best Country category. The nominated song 'Near The Silver Mine' is part of the group's latest collaboration, based on Deaver's mystery/thriller novel, 'XO.'
