Classic Stage Company (CSC), under the leadership of Artistic Director Brian Kulick and Executive Director Jessica R. Jenen, will present Anton Chekhov's tragicomic masterpiece THE CHERRY ORCHARD, featuring John Turturro (Lopakhin), Dianne Wiest (Ranevskaya), Christian Camargo (Trofimov), Ken Cheeseman (Pischick), Daniel Davis (Gaev), Alvin Epstein (Fiers), Slate Holmgren (Yasha), Roberta Maxwell (Charlotta), Juliet Rylance (Varya), Michael Urie (Yepikhodov), Elisabeth Waterston (Dunyasha) and Katherine Waterston (Anya), beginning performances Wednesday, November 16 at CSC (136 East 13th Street). Directed by Andrei Belgrader, with a translation by John Christopher Jones, THE CHERRY ORCHARD will play a limited engagement through Friday, December 23. The official press opening is scheduled for Sunday, December 4 at 7pm.

Full casting is announced for Matthew Bourne's NUTCRACKER!, which returns to Sadler's Wells this Christmas to celebrate the production's 20th Anniversary with a limited seven week run from Tuesday 6 December 2011 - Sunday 22 January 2012, as well as touring extensively throughout the UK (tour schedule attached). New dates are also added, with the tour now playing Dublin Grand Canal Theatre (Tuesday 8 - Saturday 12 May 2012) and Newcastle Theatre Royal (Tuesday 15 - Saturday 19 May 2012). Christmas 2011 marks another special anniversary, as New Adventures returns to Sadler's Wells for a 10th consecutive Christmas Season.

Jarrod Spector, who currently stars as Frankie Valli in the Tony, Olivier & Grammy Award-winning Best Musical, JERSEY BOYS, will take his own concert entitled MINOR FALL, MAJOR LIFT to opening night at Flute Cabaret on Sunday & Monday nights, November 6th & 7th at 8:30 p.m. This concert is directed by Eric Michael Gillett with music direction by Adam Ben-David.

To mark its 25th Anniversary year, Andrew Lloyd Webber and Cameron Mackintosh present 'The Phantom of the Opera' in a fully-staged, lavish production, set in the sumptuous Victorian splendour of the Royal Albert Hall with a cast and orchestra of over 200. The Pasadena Playhouse announced that Bradley Whitford is set to play the role of 'Marc' in ART and Robin Givens is to play the role of 'Angel' in BLUES FOR AN ALABAMA SKY at The Pasadena Playhouse. BLUES FOR AN ALABAMA SKY, by Pearl Cleage, will be directed by Artistic Director Sheldon Epps and performs November 1 - 27, with the official press opening on November 6, 2011. ART, by Yasmina Reza, will be directed by David Lee and performs January 24 - February 19, with the official press opening on January 29, 2012.

According to Deadline.com, stage and screen star Blythe Danner is set to guest star on NBC's new series 'Up All Night,' as Christina Applegate's mother.

Tony Bennett's big break came in 1949 when comedian Bob Hope noticed him working with Pearl Bailey in Greenwich Village. As he recalls, 'Bob Hope came down to check out my act. He liked my singing so much that after the show he came back to see me in my dressing room and said, ‘Come on kid, you're going to come to the Paramount and sing with me.' But first he told me he didn't care for my stage name (Joe Bari) and asked me what my real name was. I told him, ‘My name is Anthony Dominick Benedetto,' and he said, ‘We'll call you Tony Bennett.' And that's how it happened. A new Americanized name, the start of a wonderful career and a glorious adventure that has continued for sixty years.'

According to Deadline.com, the Eagles are busy developing a musical for the Great White Way. The band is currently touring, and will name the show after one of their biggest albums: Hotel California. Further details on the production have not yet been released.

Kristin Chenoweth is best known on Broadway for her performance as Sally Brown in You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown (1999), for which she won a Tony Award, and for originating the role of Glinda in the musical Wicked (2003).

Roundabout Theatre Company presents three-time Tony Award winner Frank Langella as 'Gregor Antonescu' in Terence Rattigan's drama Man and Boy, directed by Maria Aitken. As part of the centennial celebration of English playwright Terence Rattigan, Man and Boy began previews on September 9th and opens officially on October 9, 2011 at the American Airlines Theatre on Broadway.
