Cameron Mackintosh, in association with Southbrook Group Limited and Stage Entertainment UK, announced today full casting for the national tour of Cameron Mackintosh's new production of Lionel Bart's smash hit musical OLIVER!, opening at Wales Millennium Centre Cardiff on 20 December 2011, with previews from 10 December 2011.

According to the NY Times, Yale University Press wil publish Eugene O'Neill's autobiographical, one-act play- EXORCISM. The play, which was written by O'Neill soon after a failed suicide attempt in 1912, was believed to have been destroyed, will be available in book form in February.

According to Deadline.com, Broadway veteran Alexandra Socha will be joining the cast of the upcoming fifth and final season of DirectTV's DAMAGES. Socha will play the daughter of Jenna Elfman-an investment bank employee who becomes upset over her company's questionable conduct.

Matthew Bourne and New Adventures are delighted to announce a year long celebration of work and special events to commemorate the 25th Anniversary of the company's first performance in 1987. New Adventures (formerly Adventures in Motion Pictures) gave it's first performances in the late eighties under the direction of Bourne, Emma Gladstone and David Massingham. In 1991 Bourne became the sole Artistic Director and guided the company from a small scale touring troupe to a worldwide dance phenomenon, making Bourne himself a star choreographer with an international reputation. Long Elementary School 1,000 tickets at a surprise in-school assembly today with a heartwarming performance by LION KING cast members. Students from more than 80 Clark County elementary schools submitted essays on why their school deserves to see THE LION KING before the show's final performance on Dec. 30, and the winning essay came from Walter V. Long's Daniel Hernandez in Danielle Rayos' fifth grade class.

The Broadway League announced today that actor and musician Nick Jonas will serve as the 2012 KIDS' NIGHT ON BROADWAY® National Ambassador. Jonas, who began his career on stage at age 8, returns to Broadway for the first time since the launch of the international sensation The Jonas Brothers when he joins the cast of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying on January 24, 2012 in the iconic role of J Pierrepont Finch.
