On December 10th and 11th, Christopher J. Hanke and Telly Leung joined Broadway Artists Alliance to lead master classes. Hanke led a How to Succeed...-themed master class, and Leung led a GLEE-themed master class. Both performers worked on song interpretation with a very fortunate group of students, and led a Q&A session. Check out photos from both events below!

Back by 'Popular' demand, Broadway's biggest blockbuster, WICKED has returned to its Los Angeles home, the Pantages Theatre, for a strictly-limited engagement this holiday season running through January 29, 2012. Three-time Emmy Award winner and Tony nominee Jack Klugman - who is the last living cast member from the 1957 movie of Twelve Angry Men, then playing the young "Juror 5" - will be returning to the stage at George Street Playhouse to star in the play, now cast as the eldest of the twelve, "Juror 9".

JERSEY BOYS, the Tony, Grammy and Olivier Award-winning hit musical, opened in Philadelphia, PA at the Forrest Theatre, on Friday, December 9 (performances began Tuesday, December 6) and will play through Saturday, January 14, 2012. From Philadelphia, JERSEY BOYS will play Dayton, OH's Schuster Performing Arts Center Tuesday, January 17 through Sunday, February 5.

Lysistrata Jones began preview performances Saturday, November 12th at the Walter Kerr Theatre and opened officially last week, December 14, 2011. Hugh Jackman, currently starring in the record-breaking hit Hugh Jackman, Back on Broadway, will be a guest on this week's episode of "Theater Talk," airing December 24 at 1:30am on WNET Channel 13. Encore presentations air on CUNY TV on December 24 at 8:30pm, December 25 at 12:30pm, and December 26 at 7:30am, 1:30pm and 7:30pm. The episode will then be available for national syndication on December 29. CUNY TV airs on cable Channel 75 in the New York City area.

Paper Mill Playhouse has just announced the cast and creative team for Boeing-Boeing, directed by James Brennan. The cast features: Anne Horak (Gretchen), Brynn O'Malley (Gabriella), Heather Parcells (Gloria), John Scherer (Robert), Matt Walton (Bernard) and Tony® Award-winner Beth Leavel (Berthe). The show begins performances on Wednesday, January 18, 2012, and runs at the Millburn theater through Sunday, February 12, 2012. The official press opening is scheduled for Sunday, January 22, 2012. Boeing-Boeing is sponsored by American Airlines, the official airline of Paper Mill Playhouse.

According to CTV, SMASH will premiere in Canada on CTV on February 6. Helen Mirren will lend her voice to an upcoming episode of FOX's GLEE, according to TVLine.com. Their source commented: "Helen came in and secretly recorded several long and hilarious monologues two weeks ago. Then she visited the kids on set, and they had no idea she was coming; they were stunned."

As part of the 25th Anniversary, Shakespeare Theatre Company celebrates Shakespeare through song and verse. A musical interpretation of the Bard's work will be performed in concert-style staging as additions to the regular season. The limited engagement will be presented with live music and featuring, Tony nominee Robin de Jesus and Javier Muñoz, according to de Jesus' Facebook page.
