The cast of the 10th Annual Nightlife Awards reaches critical mass with the addition of Tony Nominee and Nightlife Legend KAREN AKERS and nightlife and recording sensation NELLIE McKAY. They join a cast that already includes TERRI WHITE (Follies), who spent a great many years as one of New York's most exciting piano bar entertainers and will be honored with a Special Award for her Contributions to New York Nightlife. As is always the case with The All-Performance Nightlife Awards, Terri will take the stage and sing. Heralded TV and nightclub comedian, RAY ELLIN, is on tap to perform on Monday night, as are two former Nightlife Jazz Award winners Vocalist winners, ALLAN HARRIS and KAREN OBERLIN.

The New York Philharmonic will present Anywhere I Wander: The Frank Loesser Songbook, a celebration of the late legendary Broadway composer of Where's Charley?, Guys and Dolls, The Most Happy Fella, Greenwillow, and the Pulitzer Prize-winning How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Monday, March 26, 2012, at 7:30 p.m. Directed and conducted by Tony Award winner Ted Sperling, the evening will feature an all-star cast that includes Ann Hampton Callaway, Victoria Clark, Robert Morse, Bryn Terfel, a special appearance by Loesser's widow and leading lady Jo Sullivan Loesser, and others to be announced. Signature Theatre and The Pershing Square Foundation announced today a $25 million gift to Signature Theatre to fund the innovative Signature Ticket Initiative, as well as dedicating the theatre's new home as The Pershing Square Signature Center.

Idina Menzel's new PBS concert special, Idina Menzel Live: Barefoot at the Symphony, premiered on Chicago's PBS affiliate WTTW on January 9. The concert - filmed in November in Toronto featuring husband Taye Diggs and legendary composer/conductor Marvin Hamlisch - will be released on DVD and CD on March 6, the singer's official website reveals.
